Located at Jalan Pahang, just off Jalan Tun Razak, The Grand Season Hotel is just strategic as a connection point for business meet up and accommodation, as well as for daily casual dining. There are four main restaurants and cafes in this hotel, which is Seasons Cafe, O’las Indian Restaurant, Lobby Lounge and Kasbah Bar.

O’las Indian Restaurant is situated in the basement level of the hotel, offers diners to unique culinary experience through their authentic Indian cuisine in a spacious, cozy environment. The restaurant offers valued buffet at only RM39 for dinner, with widespread of Indian cuisine that covers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners.
Other than buffet, there’s also ala-carte menu to choose from. Choices are extensive from Oriental delights to Western food, but the highlights will definitely be the Northern Indian cuisine authentically prepared by experienced chef from India.

Tandoori Chicken (RM27)

Prawn Malabari has a coconut milk based curry, cooked with garlic and ginger for extra touch of flavours. Sauce is hot and spicy with distinct coconuty flavours, compliment well with the fresh, plump and bouncy prawns.

Roganijosh Kashmiri (RM32)

IMG_2726e

Rogan Josh, a popular Kashimiri cuisine which is said to be originated from Persia and later on making its way into Northen India. O’las version of Roganjosh Kashimiri is good, with tender pieces of mutton thickly coated by spicy, creamy and flavour packed gravy, best enjoyed with a bowl of rice or naan.

Palak Paneer (RM23.00)
A vegetarian platter with blended spinach cooked with cottage cheese, spices and cream. The green coloured gravy may not seem appetizing, but a try on it make us get hooked. It is really creamy, aromatic, very soft and soothing to the palate. The cubed cottage cheese has a texture that is little firmer than beancurd, cheesy and savoury that paired just right with the healthy spinach puree. Delicious.

Aloo Ghobi (RM23.00)
The girl’s favourite. Vegetarian friendly and light, Aloo Ghobi combines cauliflower and potato sauteed with Cumin seeds and spices. Served alongside with rice/naan, papadam, yougurt and Indian pickle.

Thali Meal (From RM23- RM27)
Thali Meal is available in O’las Restaurant from 12noon- 3pm, where the set is so plentiful with your choice of Lamb Roganjosh, Tandoori Chicken, Fried Marcili Fish, Madras Fish Curry, March Masala or vegetarians comes together with vegetables, raita, cucumber salad, pickles, naan, briyani rice and desssert in one platter. Hearty in portion, valued for money.
In short, O’Las Indian Restaurant is a new place worth checking out for authentic Indian cuisine, whether you are into the buffet, or ala-carte.
