Waku Waku New Menu @ Mid Valley [CLOSED DOWN]

November 5, 2013 by summerkid_summergirl

While Waku Waku Mid Valley is always proud as a Japanese Restaurant that serves authentic Japanese cuisine with fusion twist, this time the restaurant is bringing in more new flavours to the menu, which is called Teishoku style, or set meal.

Grilled Salmon Set (RM26.00)
Every set is served with a bowl of rice, miso soup, two appetizers of the day, Chawanmushi. and a choice of main. Valuable for price, balance in nutrition too. Take the Grilled Salmon Set as example, for the price of RM26, diners will get a hearty portion of grilled salmon with complete side dishes. Nicely grilled to set a crispy skin, flaky soft salmon meat.

Mega Mo Mo (RM19.90)

For chicken skewer lovers, go for the Mega Mo Mo. Succulent and juicy pieces of deboned grill chicken smothered with Japanese sambal sauce which is a mix of Japanese miso paste, spices and mayo. Equally flavorsome as local sambal with spiciness toned down.

Chicken Tsukune Hamburg Steak Set (RM19.90)
Strictly following the technique and process of making this special hamburg in Waku Waku Japan, diners will get an authentic taste exactly as what you will have in Japan. Made using lotus root, tofu, ginger, onions, minced chicken, herbs and spices, this ingredients loaded chicken patty is not only good in flavours, but also very healthy. It is carefully prepared in special process to keep the fatness low while retaining the moisture and juiciness with buttery smooth outer layer. Have it with dip of half boiled egg, it turns real good.

Minced beef marinated in eight types of spices, getting all the flavours to infuse through and then grilled to perfection with juiciness locked within. Garnished with fried onions for a hint of sweetness, and topped over with thick brown sauce that renders a heavy, flavorful sensation. Ideal to go with a bowl of rice.
