Located along the busy streets in Desa Sri Hartamas, Momos Seafood Steamboat Restaurant is a new rise which focuses on steamboat and Thai cuisine. No grandeur decorations, just simple wooden furnitures with brightly lit environment and Thai pop songs to accompany your meal.

Steamboat Combo Value Set 1 (RM15.80)
Steamboat is the main choices here. You can either order what you want from the ala carte menu, or go to the Combo Value Set. We do recommend to have the combo set, as you can get more ingredients at one time more reasonable value. Momos’s Combo Value set 1 is generously filled with fishballs, meatballs, quil eggs, crabsticks, fish, squid, prawns, vegetables, mushroom. You can choose to cook them in corn soup, or Tom yam.

Deep Fried Fish With chilli (seasonal price)
Apart from steamboat, do order also few signature Thai dishes to go alongside with your steamboat. Try the deep fried fish drenched in a bed of Thai Chilli sauce that renders a sweet, souring and spicy concoction. Very appetizing, you will need bowls of rice to go with this.

Stir Fried Crab with Spring Onion
The name of the restaurant itself may not tell you they have Thai food until you flip through the menu. But it doesn’t matter,as the restaurant also doesn’t tell you individual portion of seafood like Thai style stir fried crab is served here. Nah, visit to know it.

Lime Steam Fish (seasonal price)
One of the popular Thai delicacies that features fresh whole steamed fish submerged in a bed of sauce loaded with chilli, garlic and lime juice, which are also the key ingredients that bring in a robust lemony blend to the whole dish. Low in fat, full of flavours.

Seafood Tom Yam (RM20/small; RM25/large)
A pot of nourishing soup brimming with seafood including prawns, squid, fish and mushrooms. Boiled with herbs and spices to deliver a pleasant flavour and aroma. Spiciness and sourness is at a very mild stage, so don’t worry if you couldn’t take spicy food, as this soup will be no challenge for you to indulge in.

Stir Fried Chicken with Hot Basil Leaves (RM12/small; RM18/large)
Minced chicken, chicken gizzards and chicken skin stir fried in basil leaves, chilli, onion and crushed peanuts. Complicated in flavours and texture, as there is a mix of spiciness, sourness, exotic flavours within tender and chunky munch. Like it or not, it depends on individual. Best to go with a bowl of rice.

Red Ruby (RM5.50)
End the meal with Thai classic dessert, the Tab Tim Krob or Red Rubbies in Coconut Milk. We find this mediocre, with rooms for improvement.
