Creamy Lobster Bisque RM38. This Creamy Lobster Bisque was a ”love at the first sip”. Rich and flavorsome, filled with umami-ness of blue crab meat, finished with a swirl of herb oil.
Chicken Tikka Pizza RM48
Chicken Tikka, one of the crowd-favourites that evening. Chef gives this Italian classic food an Asian twist not only on the topping, but also on the pizza base – Naan bread it is! And then you have Chicken Tikka, corriander, onion, spicy mayonnaise, and Mozzarella cheese loaded over. Recommended.
Seafood Spaghetti Pomodoro RM48
For more substantial dishes, PJ’s Bar & Grill offers Seafood Spaghetti Pomodoro, Laksa Pesto Angel Hair, Grilled Red Grouper, Batter Fish Goujons and PJ’s Beef Burger, just to name a few.
Batter Fish Goujons RM58
We rarely ordered fish & chips or something similar in a restaurant, as we always afraid that it will be too greasy. Thankfully, PJ’s Bar & Grill churns out a good one for their signature Batter Fish Goujons. Hearty portion, with deep fried to golden brown crispy outer layer jacketing fish fillet locked with moist, served with a side of fries and garlic aoli.
Steamed Red Grouper Nyonya Style RM88
Together with eggplant, tomatoes, ladies finger, mint leaf, crispy mantao.
Sambal King Prawns RM68
Coming to PJ’s Grill & Bar New World Hotel Petaling Jaya grill menu, we found more Asian flavours come into play, like Sambal King Prawns, Lemongrass Chicken with Sweet Chilli Sauce & Peanuts and Stir-fried Black Pepper Hot Beef Bowl. While for the protein, diners can have a choice of lamb, beef, chicken, fish or prawns.
Angus Tenderloin 180g RM198
If you love grilled steak, go for their Prime Cuts of either Angus Rib Eye, Angus Tenderloin or Angus Sirloin; then opt for desired doneness. Sit back, relax and wait for your steak to be served!
All steaks are served with a choice of mushroom sauce, chimichurri, black pepper, rosemary sambal belacan, sweet chili oil.
Hot Beef Bowl RM78
Surprisingly Wok hei loaded, with black pepper sauce graciously coated to tender beef slices. Creatively added with crispy rice bits for extra bites. Really feel like asking for a bowl of white rice to pair with though it might be inappropriate.
Chocolate Ganache Tart RM28
Classic Vanilla Crème Brulee RM35
End the meal sweet with Chocolate Ganache Tart and Classic Vanilla Creme Brulee. Especially love the former for its deep chocolaty goodness, balanced up with tangy sweetness from Balsamic grenadine strawberry, honeycomb and macadamia ice cream.
Overall review: A very nice restaurant & bar that has a good weigh in almost every element, be it ambiance, design, food, drinks or service. Definitely a worthwhile place for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend their Hot Beef Bowl, Steamed Red Grouper Nyonya Style and Creamy Lobster Bisque.
