Ayam Brand Introduces 3 Authentic, Time-Saving Thai Curry Pastes

Available are the iconic Thai Green Curry Paste, the well-loved favourite Thai Red Curry Paste and the mild, kid-friendly Thai Yellow Curry Paste. Made in Thailand, each curry paste uses local ingredients according to well-accepted traditional recipes.

There are no added preservatives, no artificial colours and it is Halal certified. Each pack comes with three 50g shots of curry paste, one shot is sufficient for a generous Thai-style meal for two to three people. The individual packs are light, small and flexible, keeping the pastes fresh, while allowing you to determine how rich or mild your culinary creation will be.

The new curry pastes pair well with Ayam Brand Coconut Milk that brings the great taste, appetising aroma, creaminess and health benefits of coconut milk, in convenient packs. Thai Green Curry Chicken

Thai green curry is a crowd-pleaser when paired with chicken or with shrimp served with steaming hot rice, especially on rainy evenings. The fresh earthiness of basil, cilantro, kaffir lime and the heat from green chillies makes this curry so appetising. With Ayam Brand Thai Green Curry Paste you can prep and cook delicious Thai green curry in 20 to 25 minutes. Here’s how. In a pan, heat cooking oil and fry one shot (50gm) of the Ayam Brand Thai Green Curry Paste for 30 seconds until fragrant. Next add 200gm of sliced chicken breast or thigh and stir fry until meat is tender. Pour in a 200ml pack of Ayam Brand Classic Coconut Milk. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add in some chopped eggplant, and finely sliced carrots and stir in until the vegetables are done. For a more fragrant and spicy dish garnish with kaffir lime leaves, sliced red chillies and lemongrass. A Thai-riffic dish that is tasty, well-balanced and surprisingly easy to whip up. Serves 2 to 3 people.

Thai Red Beef Curry

Red Curry Paste is more robust,  pairing well with meat such as beef, lamb and mutton.  Thai Red Beef Curry is a frequently ordered dish for many of us but it can be easy to make at home. Try this easy recipe. In a pan heat cooking oil and fry one shot (50gm)of Ayam Brand Thai Red Curry Paste for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add 200gm of diced beef cubes and stir fry until tender and well coated with curry paste. Stir in 200ml of Ayam Brand Classic Coconut Milk, bring to the boil, then reduce to simmer for 5 minutes. Add in 50gm of finely sliced cabbage leaves and stir until done to your liking. Garnish with kaffir lime leaves, red chilli and lemongrass. The hearty beef, crunchy cabbage and rich and creamy gravy is perfect with rice, and equally good with pasta too! Serves 2 to 3 people.

Thai Yellow Chicken & Carrot Curry

For kids and some adults who are not fans of spicy dishes, whip up this mild and delicious Thai Yellow Chicken & Carrot Curry. In a pan heat cooking oil, and fry one shot (50gm) of Ayam Brand Thai Yellow Curry Paste for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add 200gm of sliced chicken breast or thigh and fry until meat is tender. Stir in 200ml of Ayam Brand Classic Coconut Milk, bring to the boil, then reduce to simmer for 5 minutes. Add in chopped carrots, green beans, cherry tomatoes and stir until tender. Garnish with chopped coriander before serving. Delicious and nutritionally balanced. Serves 2 to 3 people.
