Playground Coffeery @ Taman Melawati, KL

Playground Coffeery, a new cafe in Taman Melawati KL run by a team of young, enthusiastic entrepreneurs to serve the neighbourhood with fresh, aromatic coffee, sandwiches, cakes and quick light meals.

The cafe takes pride for their interior with an elongated space divided into three areas – front section is relaxing and cozy like a living room, having long sofa adorned with colourful pillows; the medium section is great for casual gathering, putting together mini, charming chairs with customized wooden tables painted in different colours.

We believe the end section at Playground Coffeery will be well-loved by patrons. Concrete floorings complemented by furnishing in same style for a raw and rustic touch; while the other corner reminds us the childhood precious moments – a swing (*but of course no flying-high here). Perhaps they should install a slide too?

Walk in further and get welcomed with natural sunlight, man-made lawn, rainbow colours wooden planks stacked up into photography-worthy scene. Bright, cheerful and vibrant to make Playground Coffeery lives up to its name.

We happened to visit the cafe on their Grand Opening. It was rather crowded and messy but, ya, expected.

Tried out their latte and mocha. Aromatic coffee, just a bit too hot to our liking. Since Playground Coffeery is still new, it is understandable on the hit and miss. We look forward to better coffee, prettier latte art in future visits.
