Chateraise Patisserie Japan @ Isetan KLCC, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Chateraise Patisserie, Japan famous pastry and cake shop with over 400 outlets across the country has finally arrived in Malaysia, landing their first store in Isetan KLCC, Kuala Lumpur!

It was unexpected to bump into this newly opened Chateraise. Summergirl just finished her seminar in Novotel Hotel Kuala Lumpur last Tuesday evening, making her way back to Ampang Park LRT using Pavillion – KLCC linked bridge. Passed by Isetan KLCC, as usual, she couldn’t help but to walk in and bought some Japan snacks.

As she was about to leave, her tired eyes got wide awake with a counter of colourful, impressive cakes, pastries, cream puffs and confectionary near the entrance! That was Chateraise with legendary double cream puffs, Japan strawberries toppings, cakes made using Hokkaido fresh milk, and so forth, all air-flown from Japan now right in front of her.

The feeling of wanting to scream her lungs out with “!!!!!” looking at those pretty desserts.

Strawberry Cube Cake, Three Fraise Cream Cake, Fresh Cream Short Cake Chocolate, Strawberry Milk Cake, Marble Chocolate Bomb, Cream Dome Tart, Mango Tart, Blueberry Rare Cheese Cake, Baked Cheese Cake, White Zebra Mille Crepe, Strawberry Parfait, Brownie Bar, Strawberry Tiramisu, Matcha Bombe Cake, Rich Chocolate Cake and more, beautifully lined up in the dessert counter. Price ranged from RM9.80 to RM18.00 for cakes.

Ended up buying Baked Cheese Cake (RM9.80) and Legendary Fresh Cream Cake (RM14.80), which said to be the No.3 best seller and No.1 best seller.

So who is Chateraise Pattiserie No.2? White Zebra Mille Crepe. If budget allowed, she would probably carry a dozen back home, one flavour each. LOL.

We prefer the Baked Cheese Cake over Fresh Cream Cake. The former laid a smooth, creamy and rich texture, but not cloying. The later is good too, scores on the fresh cream and a touch of strawberry tangy sourness layered within the sponge cake.

Macarons, fluffy cream roll, chocolate, azuki cream pancake, sweet bounchee, lemon cake, chestnut  filled bun, raisin sandwich, madeleine, rice dumpling and some other sweet food items available in Chateraise Pattiserie Isetan KLCC kiosk.

Queue seems to have begun at Chateraise by now. Do check them out for sweet indulgence!
