When TEMPTations Restaurant at Renaissance KL Hotel says NEW, they really mean it!

Recently, Renaissance KL Executive Chef Helmut Lamberger and his team has unveiled the new taste of TEMPTationS, ready to excite all foodies. The new buffet boasts a line-up of Live Action Stations throughout the restaurant, a tantalizing spread that spans from Malay, Chinese to Western food, offering delicious selection of specialty dishes for Lunch and Dinner daily.

The Lunch Buffet is served from 12.00noon to 2.30pm and priced at RM125nett per person and the Dinner Buffet is from 6.30pm to 10.30pm at RM145nett per person. Meanwhile, the Long Lunch is available from 12.30pm to 4.00pm every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays and is priced at RM138nett per person. Children from 6 to 12 years old enjoy these buffets at half price.

What’s better is, from now until 31 May 2016, guests dining at TEMPTationS will also enjoy 3+1=3 deal, where they only pay for 3 persons and the 4th person dines for free. With the enticing aromas of exotic spices to tickle the palate, we have a hard time deciding where to start from. Perhaps the cold selection first. An assortment of fresh seafood on ice, including oyster, slipper lobster, green mussels, flower crab and fresh tiger prawns, together with a medley of mixed salads plus garden greens to please.

For soup, there are 2 choices of soups daily accompanied by an assortment of home-made bread rolls. Highlights from the hot selection during our visit includes Slow Cook Saury Fish with Soy Sauce, Briani Rice, Poached Salmon on Lemon, Grilled Lamb Cutlet with Mushroom and Jus, Wok Fried Chicken Marmaite Sauce Honey Pumpkin, Pajeri Terung ,Kambing Kuzi, Daging Tok,Loh Hon Zhai, just to name a few.

At the interactive Live Action Stations, guest can enjoy Japanese delights such as sushi and sashimi, Chinese Poached Seafood, Italian pasta station with traditional sauces and condiments as well as an indigenous Apam Balik station dishing out à la minute dishes.

Whole Roasted Salmon in Salt Crust, one of our favourites in TEMPTations Renaissance KL Hotel new buffet. Fresh, flaky with a touch of saltiness. Good eating on its own without any sauces needed.

Do remember to make room for desserts as the pastry chef has lined-up an array of colorful and delicious cakes, from pandan tiramisu to raspberry tiramisu, Chocolate Savarin with Mix Fruit, Bubur Kacang Hijau, Mango Basil Mousse with Roselle Jelly, Sea Coconut with Longan, Mable Cheese Cake, Malay kuih, ice-cream and the all-time favourite Bread and butter pudding with vanilla sauce.
