Alpacasso Cafe AEON Mid Valley Megamall KL: Alpacasso Theme Cafe!

Alpacasso Cafe, Malaysia’s first pop-up theme cafe for Alpacasso – a charming character from Japan is now opened in AEON Mid Valley Megamall KL!

Taking pop-up cafe to the next level, Anista Tokyo has lined up a good series of concept cafe in AEON Mid Valley, teaming up with many of the famous Japan cartoon characters including Rilakuma, Doraemon, Pokemon, Sumikkogurashi, Kutsushitanyanko, Banao and Senchimentaru-Circus, just to name a few. Each of this cafe will stay for about 2 to 3 months before the next theme comes in, all with a brand new menu.

Cotton Candy Alpacassoda RM24.80

Alpacasso as the first, greeting customers with adorable sweet & savoury food which is a feast to the eyes. Pleasing enough to make you take photographs before start eating. Yeap, they worth a place in your Instagram and Facebook, as well as quick videos in Snapchat, Instgram Stories or what-so-ever. So adorable that you have no reason not to share!

The cafe is located inside AEON children department (1st floor), near to the entrance opposite to The Face Shop. Look for Anista Tokyo, Alpacasso Cafe is just within the area. Come for lunch, teatime and dinner.

White Alpacasso Burger RM28.80 (chicken), RM29.80(beef)

Alpacasso Burger to start. Chicken or beef patty glazed with teriyaki sauce, sliced tomatoes, roasted onions sandwiched within two pau-like bun. Surprisingly good, especially the fresh, dense but fluffy bun. Served with a side of soup of the day and deep fried wedges.

Alpacasso Curry Island RM26.80

Not extraordinary special but definitely a crowd favourite on Alpacasso Cafe menu, plus the rice presented in Alpacasso face deserved a round of big applause. Yeap, few more shots of photos before we start digging into this traditional Japanese comfort food.

Garden Green Salad RM19.80

For healthier option, goes for Garden Green Salad that put together a bed of greens, drizzled with special onion or Japanese dressing. Complete with toasted bread and tomato sauce. Add RM5 for soup of the day.

Fluffy Alpacasso Pancakes RM25.80

Fluffy soft pancake, covered with white sauce and a side of fresh whipped cream and fruits. We initially treated the top layer as cheese until we tucked in, it is actually milky sauce, not too sweet, marriage well with the pancakes.

Potted Cheesecake RM22.80

Have your cake and bring home the mug! Spongy cake, layering up with berry sauce, rosemary, oreo sprinkles and flower. Pretty, akin to a pot of plant but edible, doesn’t fall short in taste.

Summer Danish Pillow RM25.80

Danish bread with flaky, crispy edges, giving texture contrast to the chewy centre. Topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, served with fruit islands. A more filling dessert ideal for sharing, or as main meal for diners looking for simple meal.

Green Fresh Smoothie RM17.80

Spinach, apple, banana blended with orange juice, coconut water, honey. Sounds odd? Not at all. In fact, a lot more refreshing than we thought of.

Alpacasso Latte (Hot) RM14.80

Alpacasso cafe will only stay until November! Visit before the next theme joins in. We are looking forward to the next character already hehe. Now we have more reason to go beyond just groceries shopping in AEON Mid Valley!
