Muse Eatery PJ, a new cafe restaurant in Happy Mansion Seksyen 17 that is famous for their crispy deep fried har jiong chicken wings, har cheong chicken chop, har jiong burger and more. Not to forget, very Instagrammable interior.
With an inviting Scandivanian-style exterior that put together matching green leafy plants, laid-back pink & white Acapulco chairs, coffee tables in soft hues against catchy forest green backdrop; an Instagram-worthy interior that marks bold summer cafe vibes, Muse Eatery at Happy Mansion, Seksyen 17 Petaling Jaya is set to becoming one of the coolest cafes in PJ as 2019 just swing in.
Come for the lovely ambience, stay for their Har Cheong Chicken. Their golden crispy outside, tender inside chicken laced with aromatic hints of Har Cheong aka shrimp paste, has received many positive reviews since opening. So no reason for not trying out huh?
Besides the most-ordered Har Jiong Chicken Wings RM15 that is great for sharing, Muse Eatery also expands their repertoire of Har Cheong into Har Jiong Chicken Chop RM19 and Har Jiong Kai Burger RM20 that is ideal as personal main course. Decently prepared, huge portion for the price we pay for.
Other than that, Muse Eatery menu also offers food options including Muse Shrimp Aglio Olio RM20, Muse Nasi Lemak, Muse Meat Ball, Masala Lamb Burger, Pan Seared Seabass Fillet, Cheese Grill Mini Lobster, Grilled Salmon Steak, Beef Bacon Cabonara, Chicken Bolognese Pasta, Chicken Hamburg Steak and more. A balanced varieties on Asian and Western fusion selections, something for everyone.
Crab Cake RM26 – a patty made from crab meat, breaded and deep fried and served over a generous bed of mashed potatoes, lemon thyme sauce and fresh greens. If you are here early for brunch, Muse Breakfast – platter of sausage, smoked chicken ham, white toast, scrambled egg, caramelized mushroom salads; Ham, cheddar & Egg Muffin with Mashed Potato and Salad; Cheesy Avocado on Toast with Smoked Duck & Salad could be a good choice for you to fuel up for the day.
Dessert range in Muse Eatery isn’t extensive, but not Cookies Skillet with Ice Cream RM12, Signature Baked Cheese Cake, Chocolate Moist Cake, Mille Crepe and Pound Cake.
Rich, thick and chocolaty Chocolate Ice Blended RM14 to wash down our food. Not our usual order but surely a drink that fits in well for the scorching hot weather in KL recently. You can also have Mocha Blended, Houjicha Blended, Milo Kaw Kaw Blended, Espresso Blended, Matcha Blended.
Coffee here is pretty decent. RM10 for our latte, with beautiful bear shape latte art. Matcha Latte and Hojicha Latte are recommended too, as Muse Eatery uses quality matcha from Niko Neko.
Muse Eatery cafe opens at 10AM. Do arrive before noon to avoid crowd, and to make sure you get a seat for a more comfortable dining indoor. But we do enjoy the outdoor al-fresco area though. Very cozy and relaxed.
