Royal Canton DC Mall 9-in-1 dim sum platter!  Taste a bit of everything from siew mai, har gao, salted egg custard pau, wu kok, char siew bao, fish ball, egg tart and more all in one go!

Located in Damansara City Mall, the same area where Hotel Sofitel Kuala Lumpur resides, Royal Canton is a restaurant famous for dim sum, roasted fare and premium seafood delicacies.

Just recently, they have launched a unique dim sum set, featuring 9 types of dim sum in one platter.

Something that goes beyond the usual dim sum serving style,  highly recommended for diners who love trying out different dim sum but the number of dining pax – says, 2 persons, always limit the amount you can order. Now you can taste a bit of everything from Royal Canton special dim sum set!

Look at these colourful selections! A great combination of dim sum, from steam to baked and deep fried.

Clock wise: Lau Sha Bao – Steamed Bun filled with Molten Egg Yolk;  Siew Mai; Char Siew Bao – steamed pao filled with barbecued pork filling, Wu Kok – Deep fried Taro Dumpling wrapping pork filling; Spinach & Shrimp Dumpling; Steamed Cake, Har Gao and Egg Tart!

Besides this, other dim sum such as Traditoinal Lo Mai Gai, Spare Ribs with Black Fermented Beans, Chicken Feet in Hot & Spicy Abalone Sauce, XO Sauce Chives & Prawn Dumpling, Preserved Chinese Mustard Dumpling, Salad Prawn Dumpling and Enoki Mushroom Beancurd Roll, just to name a few, are worth trying too.

Stir Fried Raddish Cake in XO Sauce RM10.50

Stir Fried Raddish Cake aka Chao Loh Bak Gou, our personal favourite in Royal Canton. Squares of raddish cake, stir fried together with chives, preserved vegetables, bean sprouts and egg in XO Sauce. Love the wok-hei, with smoky burnt bits that really enhance the overall taste.

HK Style Rice Roll with Sweet Sauce RM6

Give a skip to our Prawn Chee Cheong Fun this round and had HK Style Rice Roll, a type of street food that you would easily come by when in Hong Kong. Smooth, freshly made plain rice roll, flavoured up with drizzles of chilli sauce and sweet sauce. Simple and classic, but so good.

Pork Knuckles with Szechuan Pepper / Ma Lat Zhu Shao Bou 麻辣猪手煲 RM38 Medium, RM76 Large

Sampled this pretty good Pork Knuckles with Szechuan Pepper that pack a punch. Spicy, aromatic with pleasing pungency of Szechuan pepper, coupled just right with braised-till-soft-and-ten der pork knuckles.
