Positano Risto Publika KL, a Muslim-friendly restaurant that takes prides in their Italian cuisine, both classic and fused with modern creativity – Positano Risto style.
The establishment begins their journey in Singapore since 2017, also the #1 Halal restaurant in the country. Menu is extensive, covering a wide spectrum of Italian delicacies from Slow-cooked Italian Meatballs and Bruschetta Alla Funghi to Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli, Squid Ink Seafood Spaghetti, Vongole Linguini, Magherita Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Tiramisu, Cannoli and Panna Cotta, among others.
We highly recommend their Viva La Pizza Roma Style Thin Crust Pizzas, especially Positano Super Supreme Calzone RM59.95. Generous portion, great for sharing.
A redefined version of traditional calzone, constructed into open faced with 8 handcrafted pockets filled with mushrooms and beef pastrami. Rocket salad, Burrata cheese, Parmesan cheese, Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Turkey ham, beef pepperoni further topped over crispy, thin crust pizza base.
Fettuccine Carbonara RM32.95, another signature in Positano Risto.
Fettuccine tossed in rich, creamy sauce, topped with crispy beef bacon, beef pastrami, chives and parmesan crumbs. Finished with sous vide egg. Portion is again, huge enough to feed two small eaters. Ask for extra cheese if you loved to, like what Summerkid did.
Olive Oil Trio – something that we found interesting in Positano Risto. Staff told us that we can add this to our pasta and pizza to enhance the flavours. Olive Oil with Lemon for sourness, Olive Oil with Honey for sweetness and Olive Oil with Chilli for mild spiciness.
Slow-cooked Italian Meatballs RM23.95, exclusively available only in KL outlet so there’s no reason for us to not trying this.
Homemade beef meatballs, braised in spicy tomato sauce and cooked with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Meaty, cheese bite.
End the meal sweet with Positano Signature Oreo Chocolate Lava Stack RM29.95 dessert.
Warm chocolate cake filled with molten dark chocolate lava, served over a sliced of homemade orea mud pie ice cream. Finished with chocolate and caramel sauce drizzles.
Quench our thirst with Sky Walker RM22.95, a concoction of wild blueberries, blue lagoon and lemon-lime soda; and Virgin Rossini RM16.95, a beautiful drinks made from fresh strawberries, crushed basil, mint leaves.
