Paya Serai, Hilton PJ Signature “WOW” Dish 2.0 menu! Feel that WOW with Nasi Lemak Volcano, Nasi Beriani Buluh & Kari Kaki Kambing Berapi, Sup Ekor Volcano, and Nasi Ulam in hearty portion.

Paya Serai, Hilton Petaling Jaya’s all-day-dining restaurant that takes pride for both their local and international cuisine, has recently launched a Signature “WOW” Dish 2.0 menu, putting together some of their highly popular delicacies in “WOW” serving size.

4 dishes to choose from this special menu, namely Nasi Lemak Volcano, Nasi Beriani Buluh & Kari Kaki Kambing Berapi, Sup Ekor Volcano, and Nasi Ulam & Daging/Ayam Panggang Berapi. Priced at RM65nett each.

Nasi Lemak Volcano can easily become the crowd-favourite. A combo platter of steamed fragrant rice cooked with coconut cream – in portion that can fit 2, spicy fried chicken, sambal sotong, rendang cheese sausage, fried crispy fermented soya bean or tempeh, poached egg with rendang sauce, roasted peanut and Japanese cucumber.

Nice deep-fried-to-golden-brown chicken with crunchy exterior, tender juiciness locked within. Getting more flavours into the chicken will make it a worth-while dish to order.

On a side note, we love how Paya Serai Hilton Petaling Jaya adds in creative twist to this classic dish, such as offering cheese sausage rendang instead of usual chicken/beef rendang – kids will love this! ; Topping nasi lemak with poached egg – oh WOW this is a good idea! Imagine rich, runny egg yolk oozes out once cutting through, flowing down slowly over your rice!

Sup Ekor in Paya Serai doesn’t need further introduction. Always a star dish here. Tummy-warming Spicy Oxtail Soup, accompanied with bread loaf, boiled carrots, cube potatoes, sliced celery, Chinese celery leave, scallion , Roasted Onion and lime.

Our favourite goes to Nasi Ulam. Mixed chilled rice with crunchy local herbs, served with roasted beef or roasted chicken accompanied with coconut milk, spicy gravy, sambal kelapa, sambal chili, fish cracker, salted egg and ginger pickles. Best to have a bit of everything and tuck in in one spoonful.

Other than WOW menu, Paya Serai Hilton PJ also offers other ala-carte dishes such as steak, grilled salmon, salad, burger, pizza, sandwiches, etc.. Take up the new norm without minus good taste!
