KLCG Medan Pasar KL ( near Dataran Merdeka), another new outlet for this famous bakery and confectionary is now opened – and the crowd is crazy.
While we thought that we were early at 9AM+, ended up we had to queue for almost an hour before getting a seat. Two floors, all fully occupied. A lot of you asked us whether this viral cafe is worth the hype – can’t tell, but we joined the hype!
TIPS: Remember to scan the QR code and register for your queue number as soon as you arrive. Don’t just line up blindly – you’ll end up waiting for nothing (like we did ). Huge thanks to one of the staffs for noticing this and reminded us.
As usual, bread and pastries are must try in KLCG. You can either browse through the online menu but we suggest to view from the counter and order right away, because a lot of the items are not available on your visit. Perhaps we were too early, as we saw more selections are being added to the shelves – fresh hot from the oven.
For light brunch, order from butter croissant to pain au chocolat, roasted almond croissant, croque monsieur, strawberry & crème croissant, pain suisse pistachio praline, pain suisse hazelnut praline, muscat grape danish, tiramisu danish, tomato sofrito, chocolate kunfa flan, yougurt flower cup, matcha flower cup, matcha mochi royale and more. Basque cheesecake, pandan basque cheesecake, chesnut tiramisu, yuri matcha for dessert – save room for any of these. ‘Coz why not.
If you are after something hearty, KLCG also has country sourdough toast & jam, big breakfast platter, cheese burger, pesto basil pasta, tom yum pasta, hainan chicken chop, fish & chips, margherita pizza, steakhouse pizza, pepperoni pizza, fries, pesto chicken.
Our latte is just alright, but you can try their recommended signature hot chocolate drink, Ajisai Fraissier Latte. Hainan kopi and Hainan tea are available too!
We like that the cafe preserves the heritage charm of the building it occupies, blending old-world character with modern touches. It’s a space that feels nostalgic yet welcoming – where the past is thoughtfully celebrated rather than stripped away.
If you were seated downstairs, we highly recommend you all to visit ARCH on the first floor after your meal.
