The premium cuts of imported Black Angus sirloin is the highlight. Lightly seasoned with only herbs, salt and pepper, the marination seems simple but the end product is so juicy, great in texture.
Asking why, Ms Arini, the Junior Sous Chef of Grill 582 mentioned that the secret comes from the skill of putting a proper ratio of seasoning as well as the good handling time of grilling the meat.
She does’t want to have plenty of seasoning, as this will overlay the original goodness of the steak. What she needs is to keep the steak as original as possible by using minimal seasoning, and at the same time seal the juiciness and flavourfulness through grilling, followed by baking it in oven.
The steak is topped over with mushroom sauce, good for those who like their steak to be a little saucy. But to us, the steak is already smoky, delicious, tender enough on its own without sauce.
The prized crustacean-slipper lobster is the girl favourite. Nicely done with meaty, bouncy texture.
Instead of normal chicken, the chef decided to have spring chicken on this Surf ‘N’ Turf, not only to bring in more satisfying culinary experience to all diners, also because spring chicken posseses tenderer and jucier texture.
