The menu has been created to evoke the sensory experience of exploring the abundantly stocked market stalls of the Jalan Binjai Bazaar, a street famous for its bazaar during Holy month in the 1990‘s, selling dishes enjoyed by the city’s Islamic population after breaking their religious fast.
For starter section, diners get to taste ulam-ulaman, kerabu mangga, keropok, sushi, cold seafood, etc.. While you may claim these starter as normal, local, fusion, but wait a minute – you will be surprised to see palm sized huge fresh oyster here – fresh, plump, juicy, slurp into the mouth with full satisfaction.
Come to mains, Serena Brasserie showcases dishes inspired from the traditional Muslim cuisine from different Malaysian States each day of the week, from the fiery heat of chilli-laden Negeri Sembilan cooking to the exquisite freshness of Pahang Darul Makmur’s river fish dishes, from food heaven in Penang to authentic favourites from Malacca.
