[Hong Kong 6D5N] Dim Sum @ 稻香超級漁港點心 Cheers Restaurant, Hong Kong

July 7, 2014 by summerkid_summergirl

hong-kong-6d5n-dim-sum-cheers-restaurant-hong-kong Woke up in a cold morning.
Summergirl was still feeling sick, but this didn’t affect our excited mood at all. Went for dim sum at Cheers Restaurant (稻香超級漁港酒樓), a really really bad visit. So regret for not trying out the Michellin one star Tim Ho Wan, just because we were afraid with the long queue.

hong-kong-6d5n-dim-sum-cheers-restaurant-hong-kongaTheir Hong Kong Dim Sum wasn’t any good,  be it the food or service. We wasted for 1 and a half hour just because of the waiting and slow motion of staffs there. Ordered only four dim sum and there was still one never out after one hour! So bad that we gave up and went to the cashier.

Their dim sum too, tasted really bad. Took the har gau for example, the skin was so thick and tasteless that we both agreed that even the worst dim sum shop in Malaysia tasted better than this.

hong-kong-6d5n-dim-sum-cheers-restaurant-hong-kong Siew mai seemed to be the best among all. Crowned with a huge shrimp,  boasts with juiciness of meaty filling once biting through. Not bad but still not up to our expectation.

The zha liong tasted as bad. The curlers encased within the rice sheet was hard as rock, and the rice sheet failed to reach the smoothness it suppose to have, thick and bland. Everything was just so tasteless. When tasteless doubled up, the result was a plate of wasted dim sum with only one piece eaten.

It was almost 11am by the time we left. Highly not recommend place. Wasted our morning and jumbled up our planned schedule.
