Christmas Buffet 2014 @ Essence, Sheraton Imperial KL Hotel

This coming Christmas, celebrates at Essence Restaurant, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel as their culinary maestros cater a wide spread of sumptuous dishes perfect for a get together with family, friends and love ones.

Look forward to a vast selection and anticipated delights such as Pan-seared Maguro with tossed Baby Arugula, Candied Peaches & Crumbed of Baked Ricotta Cheese, Stuffed Snow Crab Meat in Grilled Baby Capsicum, Sauté Pacific Shore Scallop with Asparagus Spear, Comfit of Vine Tomato finished with Black Caviar, just to name a few.

Begin the meal with Pan seared maguro with toasted baby arugula, candied peaches and baked ricotta cheese; Stuffed snow crab meat in roasted bell pepper; Thinly slice of roast beef with spicy horseradish, slice gherkin & dollops of grain mustard.

Roasted beef slice is our favourite, as it delivers a balanced flavours between smoky tenderness of beef and juicy, crunchy munch of vegetables, further touch up with sharp, pungent flavour of mustard.

Continue with tummy warming soup like Trio of cannellini, soy bean and chick pea bean soup with herb crouton during Christmas eve dinner;

and for Christmas Day brunch buffet, expect more interesting choice of Rabbit consommé.

For main course, choices seem to be endless. Some of the highlights go to Mississippi Style dry rub beef short ribs glaze with Coke BBQ sauce, Slice red mullet with sauté seasonal vegetable in shellfish bisque, Roulade of chicken breast stuffed with sauté organic spinach, roasted pecan & prune in tangy creamy sauce, Roasted Baked OP Rib, Braised Beef with mashed potato, and Chicken Cacciatore.

Christmas Eve buffet dinner at Essence Restaurant is served from 6.30pm to 10.30pm on 24 December 2014 and is priced at RM138++ per person (food only) and RM178++ per person (inclusive of free flow of house wines and draught beer).

Christmas Day buffet brunch on the other hand, is served from 12.00noon to 3.00pm on 25 December 2014, priced at RM158++ per person (food only) and RM220++ per person (inclusive of free flow of house wines, champagne and draught beer).
