Steamboat, or sometimes known as hotpot, is always a perfect choice for friends and family to gather together, enjoying an array of meat, seafood and vegetables cooked in a pot of flavourful, hot simmering broth.
Now, diners can treat themselves to a wholesome steamboat session at Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur Hotel, available from Sunday-Thursday, 6.30PM to 10.30PM.
Priced at RM83nett per person (*minimum 2 persons), the steamboat set will include soup of your choice, complete with a selection of ocean seafood, red and white meat, mountain mushroom, vegetables garden picks, noodles, egg, beancurd; as well as condiments and dipping to further flavour up your food.
There are 4 types of soup to choose from – Herbal Chicken Soup, Goji Soup, Tom Yum Soup and Ma La Soup. Go for the first 2 if you like nourishing flavour, while for the latter 2 – spicy, tastebud tickling to spice up your hotpot dinner.
For Ocean Seafood, fresh catch fish fillet of the day, sulu sea prawns, half shell sea scallops, flower crabs, Norwegian salmon fillet, jellyfish, fish rolls, fish balls and crabsticks will be served.
Australian beef tenderloin, New Zealand mutton, Australian beef tripe, free range chicken strips will satisfy red & white meat lovers. Our favourite? Australian Beef Tenderloin for shabu-shabu -like experience!
Balance up your meal with healthy garden picks including Tianjin cabbage, China leek, Cameron lettuce, Hong Kong choy sum and black fungus. Also, glad to see button mushroom, enoki mushroom, abalone mushroom, shitake mushroom on the steamboat menu, because these are our all-time-favourite!
By the time you finished most of the ingredients, the soup should be real flavourful, gathering essence, flavours and sweetness of meat, seafood and vegetables! So let’s put in glass noodles, mee hoon or Emperor noodles, then crack in an egg, and add some tofu. Yay! You’ve got a lovely bowl of comforting noodles soup that both children and adult alike will like.
