Cureé, a charming cafe near Jalan Imbi, with a menu focusing on Hokkaido-style soup curry and Japanese curry rice.
Have been hearing so much about Cureé (pronounced as Ka-Ray), and glad that we finally paid this place a visit last week. Location wise, love how it is conveniently located just 3 minutes walk from Monorail Imbi station, 10 minutes walk from LRT Hang Tuah station. For a better picture, it is along Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah – the alley next to Berjaya Times Square KL. A cafe ideal not only for the local cafe hoppers, but also tourists!
Cureé has a spacious outdoor and indoor seating, with the former goes more on minimalism, white theme with homey wooden furnishing;
While the latter carries a raw & rustic design, finished with a lively, vibrant touch thanks to the adorable knick knack and drawings on walls.
While Hokkaido Soup Curry and Japanese Curry take the center stage in Cureé , there is also a delicious selection on the menu that is worth checking out, such as Avopotato with Marmite Toast RM11.50 – Mashed avocado, mashed potato, purple cabbage with Marmite drizzle and onito flakes; Grilled Cheese Tosat with Potato Salad RM7.50 – Grilled Mozarella cheese toast stuffed with potato salad; Traditional Egg & Toast RM5.50 – Malaysian traditional Hailam toast with kaya, unsalted butter and Onsen egg; Okonomiyaki Waffle RM7.50 – Japanese waffle with Okonomi sauce, mayonnaise drizzle and Bonito flakes.
For main hot food, create your own curry combo to make a delicious, comfort food that is hard to go wrong with.
