Flakes The Hub SS2, a neighbourhood cafe that makes your brunch complete with their made-from-French-butter-and-flour-croissant in classic style, as well as with delicious sweet & savoury fillings.
Apart from the beautiful mixed development surrounded by modern tranquil atmosphere, The Hub SS2 is now getting more noteworthy on their F&B options, welcoming eateries from Mei by Fat Spoon to Kooky Cream, The Ding’s KL and the latest- Flakes Cafe.
Located at Block B of SS2 The Hub, Flakes Cafe takes pride in their painstakingly made croissant, served great in both plain and flourished with flavours like cinnamon, almond and pistachio.
Goes light by pairing coffee with flaky, buttery croissant, or make it more substantial by ordering croissant sandwiched with fillings like scrambled eggs, onion confit, avocado, etc..
Avo Scrambled Eggs RM16 – Scrambled eggs served over plain croissant with mashed avocado, roasted tomato and rocket salad. Do check out their popular Crabmeat Scrambled Eggs Croissant too.
Other than croissant, Flakes Cafe menu also offer Asian and Western mains, including Fork Roast Chicken Don RM15, Ngau Fan aka Beef Rice, Local Legend – Sambal Pasta with Fried anchovies and poached egg, Carbonara with Smoked Duck, Tai Tai by the Beach- Special prawn and squid pasta; Double C- Chicken & Cranberry, Black Pink – pan seared salmon with organic black and white quinoa. Limited choices for now, but worthwhile on the taste.
Price for White is priced at RM11, RM9 for Black. Add another RM1 for iced. Matcha, mocha, chocolate, teas, mocktails are available too. Overall, a nice cafe for brunch, pastry and coffee. Reasonable price, food portion is small though.
