Sumptuous Desserts @ The Gardens, Mid Valley

October 17, 2010 by summerkid_summergirl

After we finished our lunch at The Zun Express, my girl looked at me ” Are you thinking what i’m thinking? I want to eat some sweet sweet things! “. Yeap! Both of us always had the same thinking. At that moment, we came across this little stall called Sumptuous Desserts. It was located at the path way between The Gardens and Mid Valley at the lower ground.
Sumptuous Desserts
This stall not only selling durian pancakes (famous one), mango pancakes and cempedak pancakes but also jelly mooncakes, tiramisu in a cup and mochi (mua chee).
So, we chose the mango pancakes. A box of two cute little mango pancakes only sold at RM4 and box of six sold at RM10. They looked so much like mini size pillow. Very cute.
My girl frowned as she had the first bite, I knew she didn’t like it. She said the crepe had durian smell and immediately stuffed the other bite into my mouth. Hmm..a mix of very- durian- taste crepe, diced mango and fresh cream bloomed in my mouth. I like the smooth surface the crepe. Best eaten when it was cold. Too bad there was still stronger durian smell than the mango smell and I must try out their famous durian pancake next time!
