Marquise Pâtisserie Chocolaterie @ Bangsar Shopping Centre

Since the opening in 2010, Marquise Pâtisserie Chocolaterie has been focusing on a range of premium quality chocolate, cakes and cookies, handmade from the finest Belgian chocolates. Located at a hidden corner in Ground Floor of Bangsar Shopping Centre, Marquise Pâtisserie Chocolaterie is less advantage in location but the elegant exterior has made us more than eager to check out this cute boutique chocolate shop.
Once step inside, we are surrounded by a scene of exquisite. Everything is delicately presented from cakes, pastries, artisan chocolate, designed cake, homemade cookies to the packaging box. The girl especially, can hardly take her eyes off all these pretty items, admiring one by one, wishing to bring all of them back home.

Dark Chocolate with Hazelnut & Almond Nibs (RM27.00/100g)
So we hunt down our eagerness by first trying out the dark chocolate with hazelnut and Almond Nibs. Nice munch of nuts with bitter sweet dark chocolate. Available in white chocolate too.

The Black Nougat (RM27.00/100g)
We continue with the black nougat, a chocolate ball which has creamy dark nougat cream encased with dark chocolate, covered with chopped hazelnuts.

Green Tea Roche (RM27.00/100g)
Another crunchy munch with green tea infused, not too sweet. Don’t get disappointed if you find the green tea taste is not so distinct, as the flavour is still dominated by the milkiness of white chocolate.

Red Velvet Cake (RM12.90)
While chocolate is the main star in Marquise, other pastries are not overshadowed too. Take the Red Velvet Cake as example, the bright red coloured cake layered with white cream cheese frosting, is too beautiful to ignore.

Chocolate Ivory (RM11.80)
Get obsessed with these two layers cake boost with richness of dark chocolate. Soft, delectably smooth chocolate mousse sitting on top of thick, most chocolate cake. A piece of heavenly chocolaty enrobed with 53% of dark chocolate.

Banana Strussel (RM9.90)
Sweet pastry crust filled with banana, topped over with streusel and sprinkled with icing sugar powder. Like the streusel that adds flavourful crumbly addiction.

Forêt Noir (RM10.80)
Forêt Noir is the favourite among all. Airly, soft chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with tangy, juicy whole cherries, dressed with dark chocolate flakes. Chocolaty but not cloying, thanks to the fruity note of cherries that balance out everything.

Oreo Cheesecake (RM11.80)
Oreo cookie base topped with layer of cheesecake and then  added with more Oreo crumbs. An extra creamy, cheesy cake to shoo away all stressful mind from work.

Hazelnut Royaltine (RM10.80)
Rich, moist chocolate sponge cake coated with dark chocolate, generously laced with hazelnut, bringing a nutty munch within the moist textured cake.

Yes, chocolate goes into drinks in Marquise too! They have a list of hot, iced, blended and frapped chocolate drinks such as iced chocolate, iced mocha, chocolate frapped. There’s one which we find special here- the Chocolate Mint Ice Blended which has a ratio of chocolate more than mint. Just a hint of minty flavours for refreshing sensation.

Other than that, flower tea, fruit juice, fruit blended, etc. are available too to go with your sugary meal.
Marquise Pâtisserie Chocolaterie, definitely an ideal place to look for gifts for any occasion and celebrations, or merely to fulfill the craving and love for chocolate.
