Getaway at Cyberview Resort & Spa @ Cyberjaya

Cyberview Resort & Spa is a unique 5 stars, boutique resort wrapped in Malaysian hospitality, and also the only hotel in Cyberjaya. The Resort is strategically located within 25 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, 30 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre and sits adjacent to the new capital city of Putrajaya.

We had a short getaway in Cyberview Resort & Spa last week, and was surprised to find that within the heart of this intelligent city, laid a tropical paradise that gave us an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, while at the same time welcome us closer to the lush greenary, scenes of calmness.

Stepping into the resort, we were greeted with spacious hotel lobby which was of true elegance with high ceilings, charming chandeliers, hue lightings and wooden timber elements in every corner from the floor to the walls, ceilings and counter. Welcome drink of ginger tea was served upon room registration, and all the staffs were more than helpful to assist us. Warmth service, good smiles.

Pushing the door out from the lobby, we were stunned to get a glimpse of the field of green meadows beautifully interspersed with wildflowers of vibrant colours, overlooking the natural surroundings with tropical gardens, ponds, fountains and waterfalls. Here, every moment was filled with tranquility, a perfect place to relax.

Apart from the pretty surroundings, the Lodge guest rooms are also noteworthy. Cyberview Resort & Spa features 112 guest rooms comprised of 38 Superior Chalets, 36 Deluxe Chalets, 32 Executive Deluxe Chalets, 2 Two Bedroom One Bathroom Junior Suites, 2 Two Bedroom Two Bathroom Bungalows as well as Exclusive Honeymoon Suite (Mawar Suite) and Presidential Suite (Bunga Raya Suite), both with garden view jacuzzi tubs!

Among them, 38 rooms are the latest addition of the superior chalet category, 74 chalets are newly refurbished with four poster beds and teak furniture. Finest linens and amenities including the latest technology are well equipped in every chalets, suites and bungalows.

Our Poolside Chalet room was very big, especially the oversized four poster king beds which was super huge and comfy. With such a comfortable bed, we didn’t mind lying on the bed whole day long, surfing internet, watching TV or just sleep! #rolling and jumping

The room also came with the 32′ LCD screens which had a DVD player with cable television featured Astro channels including CNN, HBO and Cinemax. There is in-room safe, mini bar, private balcony, desk and living area. The new superior chalets are also completed with iPod dock. Cool!

In room internet access as well as wireless broadband services are available throughout the resort with no additional charges. So do not worry if you are a person who couldn’t live without the internet as high speed internet is always available here, all free for you!

Checked out the bathrobe, slippers, iron, umbrella, ironing boards and hair dryer. All well prepared.

Bathroom was not shadowed too, oversized with bathtubs, dressing area, toilet and bathing area.

At around tea time, fruits were sent over by the friendly stuff. A generous plate of fruits consisting banana, dragon fruits, prunes, grapes, apple, etc. We grabbed your fruit, laid back and relax. This how a holiday should be like!

For recreation, do have a visit to their multi award winning Sembunyi Spa, 10,000 square feet of sheer relaxation. Guests can have a myriad of traditional Asian style body treatments, facials and massages or work out in the gym, swim in the lap pool, unwind in the hot jacuzzi, steam room and sauna of rejuvenate in the cold dip, giving hideaway to your mind, body and soul.

Also, guests can have tennis, fishing, mountain biking. Lots of activities to go for but we never tried any, as we were busy lazing around in the super duper nice bed.

In short, we enjoyed our stay in Cyberview Resort & Spa, and highly recommend this place for family getaways, a romantic liaison and even corporate retreat. One of the ideal places to de-stress!
