Xing Zhu @ Cyberview Resort & Spa

Located just opposite at the Cyberview Garden Complex in Cyberview Resort & Spa, Xing Zhu is a Chinese restaurant offering an array of dim sum and Cantonese specialities for lunch and dinner. The name ‘Xing Zhu’ means ‘Lucky Bamboo” in Chinese, a theme that is carried throughout the restaurant from the chinaware.

The restaurant is calm and inviting, with wooden timber decor, white furnishing, bamboo motifs, and chic chandeliar in red colour latern design hanging from the ceiling. Diners can choose to sit at the main dining area, or next to the French glass window overlooking the amazing garden views while enjoying mouth watering Chinese cuisine.
Xing Zhu is popular for its Dim Sum, so we made a visit there for their ala-carte dim sum buffet during our stay in the lodge. Priced at RM50++, there is wide varieties of dim sum to choose from the menu, ranging from steamed items to braised, deep fried, baked to stir fried.

One can entices their palate with baskets of siu mai, har gau, chee cheong fun, char siew bao, braised chicken feet, braised stuffed golden beancurd, egg tart and fish ball, just to name a few.

Fried items are notable, such as deep fried spring roll, deep fried prawn dumpling and deep fried yam cake (wu kok). The wu kok is especially delicious, with crispy outer layer encasing a smooth, creamy yam paste and pipping hot, rich meat filling, boasting with flavours.

Stir Fried Loh Bak Gou is tempting, packed in flavours with good amount of wok hei.  Cubed carrot cake is soft, with chives, egg, bean sprouts and preserved vegetables to give a contrasting crisp texture. Portion is hearty but we don’t mind having the whole plate as mains.

Stir Fried Emperor Noodles
Noodles stir fried with dark soy sauce, flavours added with char siew, bean sprouts and egg. Not the best we have tasted, but decent enough to fill the tummy.

Stir Fried Brocolli
The simplist dish on the table but turned out to be the crowd pleaser. Stir fried to medium with a hint of gralicky fragrance, this greens is worth ordering a plate to balance up the nutrition and minerals intake.
For dessert, we were served with chilled Longan soup, refreshing and cooling to wash down all the heaviness we had taken down from dim sums and mains. CBD oil alzheimer’s USA – Are you suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia? CBD Oil can help.
