Dao Kia, The Place for Ultimately Soft Soya Bean Pudding

December 25, 2013 by summerkid_summergirl

Dao Kia, a must try for soya lover. Even if you are not, you might get hooked on the first try of their delicately soft and smooth soya pudding, which happened to us.

Orginated from Singapore, now you no longer have to travel across to the land of Merlion to try out this humble brand specializes in soy pudding. They are now available in The Strand Kota Damansara, Tropicana City Mall and the latest kiosk in One Utama.

There’s only four types of soy pudding available- Original soy, Japanese green tea, creamy almond, and coconut bliss. For seasonal, they are now having chocolate mocha soy pudding.

Yeap, choices are very limited. Plus, it looks really normal physically- Bowlful of soy pudding packed in container, smooth surface without any fancy topping. But, do not judge the book by its cover.

Dao Kia is really proud of their silky smooth soya pudding, truly like none other. Indeed, it is currently the best soya pudding we had tasted so far. Tastes really light and melts away at the moment it enters the mouth, yet develops a pleasant soya fragrance in the palate.

By far, original soy is our favourite as we can taste the real soya flavour. For flavour infused pudding, we will choose the green tea flavour. It isn’t sweet, but delivers a mild bitterness that tone down the soya fragrance, but not overwhelm.

Apart from that, Dao Kia serves also Silky Soy Milk and Soy Smoothie which focuses on three types of flavours- Original Soy, Creamy Almond and Japanese Green Tea. Grab a glass of creamy smooth soya base drink when you are craving for one. Japanese Green Tea is our pick.

For those who prefer extra munch for their dessert, try a bowl of glutinous Rice Ball in soya milk. Scoop on spoonful of soya milk with glutinous rice ball and enjoy the burst of sweet flavours that pairs perfectly with the nutritious sweet soup. Only three fillings available- Azuki Red Bean, Molten Peanut, Toasty Black Sesame.
