TGI Friday’s Malaysia 2014 New Menu

Good news! TGI Friday’s is introducing a fresh look for its new revamped menu, featuring 14 additional delicious selections from the kitchen at affordable prices starting from RM17.90. The new menu will be available at every TGI Friday’s outlet, nationwide from 19th May onwards.

BBQ Beef Taco RM19.90
Begin with the starters, BBQ Beef Taco Stack which is presented as it is named-Savoury corn cakes filled with beef bacon and green onion, stacked up with braised BBQ Beef, Monterey Jack Cheese, Fresh Tex Mex Slaw and pickled onions; lending a juicy, creamy concoction with a spicy touch from Sriracha aioli.

Loaded Chip Nacho RM22.90
A generous bed of home-style potato chips tossed in melted cheese and beef bacon crumbles, then stacked in a bowl, smothered with white cheddar queso. Continues to garnished with more and more beef bacon crumbles, Colby cheese and green onions. Cheesy and smoky are the best words to describe this starter.

Hibachi Chicken Skewers RM25.90
This new dish by TGI Friday’s appears to be eye pleasing, combining colourful ingredients and flavours in one plate. Chunks of all natural chicken breasts are marinated in garlic soy sauce, grilled and glazed with miso base gravy, sprinkled with toasted sesame, herbs and spices. The meat is surprisingly not dry, oozing with juiciness while carrying a hint of sourness that wakes up the appetite. Served with fresh beans and broccoli blends and grilled pita.

Honey Pecan Salmon RM47.90
While the fire-grilled, 7 spice seasoned salmon fillet pass the above average line with its flaky fresh meat, the highlights go to the interesting pecan honey butter and glazed pecan topping which deliver a nutty, sticky sweet sensation; hence putting a savoury and sweet medley of flavours that turn to be unexpected good matching.

Miami Cubano Chicken Stack RM47.90
A playful main course that is easily liked by both children and adults. Two lightly breaded, deep fried to golden brown chicken breasts are layered with sliced turkey ham, shreded Mozzarella; sided with saute mushrroms drizzled with lemon cream sauce and garnished with fresh tomato basil. Served with pilaf rice. We love having the rice with saute mushroom and salsa-like tomato together, as they lift up the flavour of the rice, yet not overpowered.

Wild Mushroom Farfalle RM19.90
Farfalle pasta cooked in roasted garlic broth with crimini, shiittake mushroom, button mushrooms, topped over with arugula and fresh parmesan. We found the pasta fall short in flavours, even though it drives a distinct, garlicky flavour. Recommended for diners who prefer a light,  saucy but not too creamy pasta.

Cowboy Triple Meat Burger RM35.90
A huge burger that sandwiched tender pieces of slow cooked BBQ beef, melted Colby cheese, roasted beef bacon, crispy frizzled onions and horseradish sauce between two butter toasted bun. So big that you can hardly tuck in all fillings one mouthful.

Mushroom Chicken Mushroom Burger RM28.90
For burger lovers who don’t take beef, don’t worry. TGI Fridays launches another chicken version burger, namely Mushroom Chicken Mushroom Burger. Between the two buttered buns, filled crispy breaded chicken breast, melted Provolone Cheese, horseradish sauce, sautted mushrooms, balsamic onions and battered Portobello Mushroom which make the burger as thick as the Cowboy Triple Meat Burger.

Chipotle Yucatan Chicken Salad RM29.90
Salad lovers, rejoice with TGI Friday’s new Chipotle Yucatan Chickn Salad that brings roasted pulled chicken breast sesaoned with garlic oregano and blackening spices over a bed of mixed greens, avocado, mixed cheese, diced tomatoes, red onions, cilantro and crispy tostada. Finished with a drizzle of cilantro lime vinaigrette and sriracha aioli. Healthy. Refreshing.

Oreo Stack RM17.90
Coming to dessert, indulge in double layers of chocolate brownie cheesecake sandwiched with white chocolate mousse overflowing with handcut Oreo. Sweet, sticky chocolate ganache and more chocolate cookies sent over the top edge. Awww..it’s so good!

Two High Carrot Cake RM18.90
Carrot Cake in TGI Friday’s goes classic, having layer upon layer of extra moist carrot cake all studed with raisins, walnut and pineapple. Finished with smooth cream cheese icing that draws a cross between moist and creaminess.
