The Gardens Hotel & Residences @ Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur

Opened in March 2008, The Gardens Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur is Cititel Hotel Management’s first deluxe property that serves as one of the 5-star hotels with best location in heart of Klang Valley, ideal destination for long and short stay.

As we had mentioned before, staying near to public transportation such as LRT is pretty important while travelling. The Gardens Hotel gets the winning point for being near to KTM Mid Valley station, and is sheltered all the way from station till hotel. Apart from that, the hotel is at close vicinity to the two major shopping malls in KL – Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Shopping Mall. Great choice for shopholic. Guests can access the hotel through The Gardens Shopping Mall, with bridge linking The Gardens Mall to Mid Valley.

There is a total of 448 guests room in the hotel, designed mainly in earthy tone with lots of wooden element incorporated to induce a warm and cozy atmosphere. There are three types of hotel rooms available, which is Deluxe, Executive Deluxe and Deluxe Premier.

Our Deluxe Room appears to be spacious, outfitted with one king size bed supported by wooden bedframe, glossy wooden side tables with grey-brown backdrop adorned by floral poster. The Gardens Hotel takes your sleeping quality into priority, as they believe a good night’s sleep promises a productive and energy-filled day for their guest. Hence, there is a selection of contour pillow, hard pillow, bolster, feather and foam pillow to choose from. Just call to “Housekeeping” and your choice of pillow will be sent to your room.

We like the workstation with hidden drawers, complete with paper notes, pen and free WiFi in case you need to perform some formal tasks. Else, enjoy the LCD TV with satellite channels.

Bathroom is huge, furnished in classic, shiny marble floor tiles and separated to walk-in wardrobe, toilet, long bath and rain shower.

Conditioning shampoo, bath gel, body lotion, shavers, comb, toothbrush are all packed individually, together with hand towels and bath towels. Check out the digital weight scales under the dressing table.

Iron, ironing board, recycle bag, in-room shoes, safety box, and bathrobe is ready at the wardrobe. Place your shoe in the rattan basket if you need your shoe polished.

The room hotel with huge clear window grants you a view of bustling Klang Valley, during the day…

..and night..

Stay lean and fit with gym facilities offered by the The Gardens Hotel & Residences, complete with latest cardio and weight training equipment. Enjoy the outdoor view through ceiling-to-floor window during your work out for extra  inspiration.

Have a swim at the hotel’s infinity pool, or sun tanning during the day . Sip on a glass of drink with addictive snack from the pool bar.

Have your breakfast, lunch or dinner at The Spread, the all-day dining restaurant that offers wide varieties of Asian and Western delights. Morning is mainly for guests’ buffet breakfast, and you can get weekday buffet during lunch time while evening time is on ala-carte.

Our room comes with complimentary buffet breakfast for two. Choices for their breakfast covers from Western fares such as deep fried hash brown, sausages, baked bean, croissant, toasts with jams, stir fried mushroom that can sum up into Big breakfast…

Muffin, cakes, yogurt, bread or salad for guests seeking for lighter munch early in the morning.

Local and Asian specialities such as Stir Fried Kuay Teow, Nasi Lemak, Beef Rendang, porridge, Yong Tau Fu, Braised Egg and Chicken, Stir Fried Sausages and more.

Coffee, tea, Twinnings English tea, and juices.

If you happened to travel to Kuala Lumpur, The Gardens Hotel is a good choice measuring from room, service, location convenience and shopping perspective.
