Chinese cuisine draws the limelight in Di Wei, and the restaurant is please to launch three new dishes in the month of July to cater even the most discerning palate- Braised Marble Goby Dish with Iced Beancurd & Pork Belly, Steamed Seabass in Assam Sauce and Pan Fried Giant Grouper with Soy Sauce.

Steamed Seabass in Assam Sauce RM12+ per 100g
We sampled three of these seafood delights during our visit to Di Wei one evening, and couldn’t stop giving thumbs up to these delicately prepared fish dishes. Steamed Seabass in Assam Sauce is the most appetizing among all three, featuring steamed seabass showered in a bed of tastebud tickling sauce that draws spicy and sourish concoction, texture added with aubergine and long beans.

Braised Marbled Goby Fish with Iced Beancurd & Pork Belly RM168++ per portion
The must-try house speciality in Di Wei, as you will be surprised with the mildly crisp outside, extra tender, moist and almost melt-in-the-mouth fish meat beneath. The secret behind? The fish is prepared using unique cooking technique- Deep fried and then braised in thick, brown, flavourful sauce with pork belly, mushroom and beancurd. Utterly delicious.

Pan Fried Giant Grouper with Soy Sauce RM23++ per 100g
Highly recommended by Di Wei, as this dish will definitely loved by both young and old. Apart from the crispy outside, flaky inside grouper, what surprises us is the green colour sauce that comes along with this deep fried delicacy. It is a sharp, refreshing flavour specially blended from green apple, vinegar, sugar and small green chili. Sweet and tangy throughout with a faint hint of spicy aftertaste. Creative, and seems unmatched but goes unexpectedly good with the fish.

Try it out today to know how good it is!
