Stay optimist and greet the morning with great coffee from The Optimist Coffee at Ampang Park LRT, Kuala Lumpur!

Great news to those who pass by Ampang Park LRT every day, you can now grab a cup of fresh coffee from The Optimist Coffee as they start brewing from 7am to 7pm this week. This small, charming coffee kiosk is located right outside the station, you will see it on your left once you take the escalator up from Ampang Park LRT station, directly opposite to McDonalds across the road.

According to Summergirl who works in that area, options for decent coffee is normally between 5-10 minutes of walking radius, either Juan Valdez and Grizzly from The Intermark KL, Antipodean from Menara Tan & Tan or RGB from G Tower. And worst, so-so coffee from Hugs Café, The Icon Tower; yet, not to mention international coffee chains.

The opening of The Optimist Coffee definitely benefits us more, as it gets more convenient to reach for a good cup of coffee, reasonably priced below RM10. Expect to hear more good feedback from customers over their coffee.

Currently, beverage starts from RM5.90 for espresso and black, RM7.90 for white including café latte and cappuccino, add another RM1 for flavoured coffee such as Hazelnut latte, Salted Caramel Latte, Mocha and so on. Sandwich is available in the morning too.

From food truck to great coffee kiosk. Cheer up, the town is going to brim with more good stuffs!
