Bean Reserve Cafe at Bangsar KL, a new venture by Brewmen Solaris Mont Kiara to serve folks in Bangsar neighbourhood with their awesome coffee, nitrogen coffee plus something new- softserve, and nitrogen tea. Get intrigued with their softserve affogato! Good one!
Sharing same premise with Bangsar The Co. Malaysia, we discover the place by looking for the “not-so-big-but-if-you-pay-some-attention-you-will-see-it” shop sign of No. 8, The Co.. Wonder how many hidden yet noteworthy cafes are going to bloom in Klang Valley. More TIPS: Bean Reserve is just one street away from Dr. Inc and Straits Food Company.
Parking? By the roadside. Pray for your luck to get a lot near to the cafe, so that you do not have to walk like mad under the scorching hot sun like us. It’s OK, good coffee always deserved some walk. Currently, Bean Reserves has beans reserved for you from 9AM till 6.30PM daily.
Bean Reserve houses a small space with less than 10 tables, probably can occupy about 30 pax at one time. Glad that it was quiet during our visit, calm, not much noise. Just nice. The front facade reminds us about PULP by Papa Paheltha which is also just a stone’s throw away, but not the same industrial-like interior at the inside.
White walls, cemented exposed bricks, concrete floorings, wooden furnishings, with a stretch of reminiscence glass shutter windows to complete. Ample of natural lights flow in during daytime, accompanied by soft yellow lighting from light bulb lamps. Simple, minimal decor.
Latte RM11
Simple menu on Bean Reserve, covering espresso-based coffee (Black and White) , extracted from Columbian- Brazil houseblend; mocha, chocolate, chai latte, filter coffee, tea, smooshie, nitro coffee, nitro tea, softsorve ice cream and softserve affogato. Simple sandwiches are available, but no sight of our favorite waffle that we had back in Brewmen.
Nitrogen Coffee RM13
Can’t deny Brewmen team is the pioneer for serving nitrogen coffee in Klang Valley, and you can get them now in Bangsar Bean Reserve too. Love it’s satisfying smooth texture, very refreshing with clean and crisp finish. Yet to check out their Nitrogen Tea which is said to be equally interesting.
Softserve Affogato RM15
Come for coffee, stay for softserve ice cream. So far Bean Reserve has Cereal Milk on their Softserve menu, RM8 a mini cup. Ask for seasonal choices. We choose to add some espresso pleasure to the melt-in-mouth dessert by having affogato softserve, RM15 per glass.
