Christmas Eve Buffet is only priced at RM138nett/adult, RM69neff/child, inclusive of a glass of wine, beer or chilled juice. Christmas Hi-Tea Buffet is served at RM84nett/adult, RM42nett/child. While for New Eve Eve, enjoy delicious buffet dinner at only RM118nett/adult, RM60nett/child, inclusive of a glass of wine, beer or chilled juice.

Begin the Christmas & New Year buffet with colourful spread of starter: Roast Duck Buritos with Pineapple Dip, Vanilla Scented Scallop Escabeche with Yuzu Chili Lime Aioli, Tuna Tartare on Ruffled Potato Chips with Basil Ash, Chicken Liver Terrine, Beef Carpaccio, Marlin Noodles with Soy Ginger Lime Cloud and Green Apple Kimchi, Lamb Rilettes, etc..

Eat healthy even in buffet. Have a plate of salad or some greens, then continue with seafood on ice including oysters, prawns, and more.

For hot selections, try out Crispy Batter Prawn Lollipops with Trio Dipping Sauce, Seafood Stew, Whole Black Pomfret Masala, Pot Roasted Shoulder of Lamb with Roasted Butternut Squash and Sweet Red Onions, Baked Frikadellen with Portobello Cheese Crust, Sauteed Garden Vegetables with Butter Croutons, Salmon Tikka with Mojito Raita..

..and not to forget Twice Cooked Spare Ribs with Fresh and Roasted Garlic and Chili. It was so good that Summerkid had few helpings of this. We were then told that preparing this dish is a laborious process, as it required double cooking to ensure the best texture and flavours possible.

Paella Valencia

The huge pan of paella earned praises from everyone on the dinner table too. Rice was well-cooked, laid with sweetness from seafood and meat. Surprisingly, one of the better Paella we had tasted. Yeap, we had two helpings of this too. Many says that you have to skip all the rice and noodles in a buffet as it will fill up your stomach space pretty quick. Oh well, quite true, but not in Swez Brasserie Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya buffet, ‘coz this was really good. You’ll regret if you skipped this.

Other main dishes include Herbed Salmon with Cajun Holandaise Sauce, Miso Marinated Beef Sate with Cashew Jalapeno Chili Sauce, Streusel Topped Dual Potatoes, Wild Berry Pilaf with Beef Meatballs, Baked Frikadellen, Chicken Drumlets with Passion Fruits and Palm Sugar Sauce, Bread Stuffed with Beef Bacon, Apple, Safe & Sweet Onions, Bread Stuffing with Dried Fruits and Bread Stuffing with Sausage, Fennel and Bell Pepper.

End the meal with something sweet. Dessert section for Swez Brasserie Eastin PJ is certainly promising, lining up delectable sweet treats that fit the Christmas theme well. Apart from popular Christmas Spiced Loaf, Yule Log, Christmas Cookies and Christmas Pudding, the hotel also offers creative cakes that tickle your tastebuds.

Cempedak Cheese Cake is one of them. Interesting combinations that blend in creaminess of cheese with deep flavour of cempedak. Not overwhelming, but a memorable aftertaste from this tropical fruit.
