Chinese New Year, a time for families to come together and honour ancestors whilst enjoying large feasts comprising of traditional dishes such as chicken served whole representing completeness (that is, having a beginning and an end), fish representing something still coming or excess, and oysters signifying wealth and plenty. With each dish representing good fortune in the coming year, Ti Chen’s Chinese New Year Set Menu features 5-savourly unique menus for a table of 6 or 10 persons:
