Fullhouse Egglet, another eggettes ( egg waffle ) specialist is now opened in West wing of Berjaya Times Square KL. It is a new venture by Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Cafe, the once popular themed cafe in Malaysia which has now shifted their focus to China.
While we recognized Fullhouse more as a themed cafe, it seems like a mismatched to see this Fullhouse Egglet store. But looking at the iconic cartoon house, it did brought back our memories on how we loved celebrating birthday parties and friends gathering in Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Cafe, a time where third-wave coffee scene was not popular yet.
The Fullhouse eggette kiosk is simple, with adorable designs that well represents Fullhouse. Customer can choose to take away or enjoy Hong Kong Gei Dan Zai in the less than 10 seats dining area, brimming with Fullhouse merchandise.
There are 4 types of eggettes or Hong Kong Gei Dan Zei to choose from Fullhouse Egglet menu, namely Original, Charcoal, Chocolate and Toffee Nut. Price is reasonable, from only RM4.50 for Original and RM5.90 for Charcoal, Chocolate, and Charcoal Cheese. Comes with a serving of sauce of your choice. We tried out the Original Gei Dan Zai with Chocolate Sauce. Prepared upon order, fresh pipping hot for a satisfying crispy outside, fluffy soft within, flavoured enhanced with a dip of rich, chocolate sauce. Quite a decent version, better if the egg aroma can be more pronounced.
What makes Fullhouse Egglet noteworthy is the “Fullhouse Happy Family” printed on each piece of Gei Dan Zai. Spot Thomas, Tiffani, Tony and Tracy! Hehe so cute. Customers can also choose to have ala-carte eggetes, or pair into set with a glass of Lemonade Juice. There’s also Tiffany egg tart on Fullhouse Egglet menu, only RM3.30 per piece.
