This coming festive month, Grandmama’s Restaurant at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Damen USJ will be churning out some of the best Malaysian dishes, all put together in their special Festive Flavour Set Menu available from 6th June to 5th July 2016.
Seabass with Chilli Lime Sauce
Total of 4 sets, with sharing dishes in different varieties. Suitable for dining group within 2-3 pax (RM98+), 4-5 pax (RM188+), 6-7 pax (RM298+) and 8-10 pax (RM398+). Pretty reasonable in price, as the set covers appetizer, white rice, main hot food, dessert and drinks.
Seafood Curry Hot Pot
We sampled few dishes from the Festive Set Menu, starting with Seafood Curry Hot Pot. This is one the best seller in Grandmama’s Restaurant, a main dish that the restaurant prouds at too. Worthwhile on the “weight” of the “lemak”, which is more pronounced compared to many of the seafood curry in KL. Rich in coconuty, alongside with flavours of herbs & spices, mild spicy aftertaste.
Ayam Masak Sambal Tomato
Summergirl ‘s favourite of all. A Malay home-cooked dish that doesn’t need fancy ingredients to please. Deep fried chicken, further stir-fried with gravy concocted from pungent, spicy sambal, balanced up with a touch of tang from tomato.
Paku with Sambal Belacan

Sup Kambing Berempah
Add on RM9.50+ for a portion of Sup Kambing Berempah, which is good in warming up the tummy before indulging in the main courses. Or, round up the satisfying meal with Cendol with Corn or ABC shaved ice at RM4.90+ per bowl.
