Artelier Coffee X Kitchen @ Pavilion KL: “Dirty” Coffee Back in Action!

August 20, 2016 by summerkid_summergirl

Artelier Coffee X Kitchen at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is now opened!!!

We can’t hold our excitement when knowing Masa Aoki san, our favourite barista is making a come back with the opening of Artelier Coffee X Kitchen at Pavilion KL. Brand new look but same good coffee and familiar faces behind the coffee counter, putting cheers to many of the loyal customers from WA Cafe, which has stopped operating a year ago.

It has been some time Summergirl complains about the lack of satisfying coffee in Pavilion KL after WA Cafe is replaced by Milkcow, while Coffea Coffee doesn’t live up to our liking despite the tagline they have. Even though we still bumped into Masa San at Lepaq-Lepaq, Palladium Cafe EcoWorld and 20 Seeds Cafe,  but this time is different, as you will be seeing him there often.

The cafe is situated at G02, a little hidden. From the direction of main entrance, pass by Godiva Chocolate, with TOD’S on front left, TWG on front right. Turn left and Artelier comes in sight, surrounded by luxury brands including MCM, Moschino and Tory Burch. Despite the location, Artelier Coffee manages to blend well into the classy range with exquisite dark wooden brown, shiny black and pillars with ceiling-to-floor mirrors outlook. The space is more spacious too, twice of WA Cafe.

Artelier Coffee menu covers milk coffee, specialty black coffee, smoothie bowls and cakes in the meantime, but they will be ready with a list of savoury food to cater lunch and dinner crowd in near future. As its name implies – Artelier Coffee x Kitchen. So, stay calm and sip on a glass of signature Dirty first.

The cafe also collaborates with Matcha Hero Kyoto from Tokyo Street, preparing matcha latte, Japanese Tea Genmai Cha, Houjicha and Sencha using matcha and tea leaves from this brand. For cakes, selections are as what you seen from their cake counter, lining up cheese cake, chocolate cake and so forth to please.
