InterContinental Kuala Lumpur Hotel celebrates Mid Autumn Festival 2016 with mooncakes exquisitely baked by master dim sum chef  from Tao Chinese Cuisine Restaurant, Chef Lo Tian Sion. These mooncake selections are available from 27th July to 15th September 2016, priced at RM26nett per piece onwards for classic baked skin, RM28nett per piece onwards for snowskin mooncakes.

Pure White Lotus Paste with Nuts, White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Red Bean Paste with Black Sesame & Sun Dried Pumpkin Seeds, Scarlet Baked Snowskin with Pandan, Salted Bean Paste, & Beetroot, Shanghai Mooncake with Single Egg Yolk and Bamboo charcoal with Assorted Nuts are baked options to choose from. The classic Pure White Lotus Paste is always our timeless favourite.

In line with the modern fusion food era, InterContinental KL Hotel has thoughtfully designed several special mooncakes, putting together interesting ingredients that we never thought of but surprisingly, items which seemed unmatched, turned out to be so delicious! Coconut Milk Snowskin with Teow Chew Yam Shrimp and Single Egg Yolk is the one of it!

Appealing balance between sweetness of yam filling, with savoury bites from dried shrimp, further wrapped with fragrant coconut milk skin. Like eating our favourite local dessert bubur cha cha, but carries unique flavours of Har Mei.

Next is Roselle Snowskin with Tangerine Lotus Cheese Paste that has beautiful hints tangerine, laced around cheese paste, enchanted with fine roselle skin.
