Break Fast at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur Hotel Buffet Dinner

From 26th May to 24th June 2017, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur Hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Serena Brasserie will present its own “Bazaar Serena”, bringing diners for a gastronomic journey of street favourites.

The restaurant, which provides a leisure breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring a lavish buffet spread of international choices is transformed into a month’s long of lively, bustling bazaar, filled with tantalising delicacies that will promise to be a feast for the eyes and tummy.

We have to admit that we join much less buffet preview for this special month over the years, but for the very few we tried out this year, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is having one of the best buffet spread, almost every dish we sampled is so delicious, taste way better than expectation.

The exquisite experience of breaking fast is enriched with bazaar food stalls, each highlighting on different signature street food such as Roasted Whole Kibas with Garlic & Thyme, Daging Rusuk Masak Berempah, Gulai Ikan Tongkol, Ikan Bakar, Satay, Cendol, Stir-fried Kam Heong Prawns, Chicken Sharwarma, and more! Also, they will be having the ever popular King of fruits – durian!

In addition, a diverse selection of buffet pleasures await you to indulge in. Starts with salad and appetiser station of Kerabu Taugeh, Kerabu Ayam, Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Soohon, Kerabu Betik, Kerabu Pucuk Paku, Kerabu Jantung Pisang, Kerabu Daging, Kerabu Udang, Serunding Ayam and more.

For hot dishes, make sure to try out Makawala Ayam, Ketam Berlada and Gulai Ikan Tongkol. These are really good especially Makawala Ayam. Tender cut of chicken drenched in really beautiful red hot gravy that tastes as lovely as its look. Rich and flavourful, medium spiciness. Have it over rice, excellent.

Besides this, international cuisine such as oysters, blue swimmer crab, green lip mussels on ice; sashimi counter with assorted maki and California rolls; live pasta station, local dessert of assorted Malay kuih, pengat pisang, bubur pulut hitam, kuih loyang, kuih lidah buaya, bahulu, kuih lapis pandan, just to name a few.

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur Hotel Bazaar Serena buffet dinner price is RM148nett per adult, RM78nett per child (5 to 11 years old) from 26th-31st May 2017 and 21th – 24th June 2017. Within 1st June to 20th June 2017, it is priced at RM178nett per adult, RM98nett per child.
