Wild Honey Pavilion KL: Famous Brunch Cafe from Singapore

Wild Honey, the cafe that serves one of the best brunch in Singapore has finally marked their first oversea outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last year. We’ve  heard a lot of positive reviews about their main branches in Singapore Mandarin Gallery and Scotts Square but yet to try it out. Hence we are pretty glad to be able to get a taste of their food in Malaysia now.

Located on 6th floor of Pavilion KL (near to Hui Lau San Hong Kong Dessert and Miru Dessert Cafe), Wild Honey occupies a spacious space that incorporates urban-vintage design. Wooden pillars, walls and furnishing of similar shades, contrasting by decoration and cushion covers in dark bold colours, etc., summing up to a welcoming and comfortable casual dining spot.

Laksa Benedict – soft shell Crab, poached eggs & laksa Hollandaise, toast

Wild Honey Pavilion menu offers a diverse selections, putting together classic crowd-favourite such as Tunisan Shaksouka (RM35), American Full Breakfast (RM45), Canadian

Buttermilk Pancake Stacks (RM28), Swiss Muesli (RM16) and their very own creation with unique twist including Barbary Duck Hash (RM35), Laksa Benedict with Soft Shell Crab, Roasted Cauliflower Salad (RM28) and more to please your taste buds.

Barbary RM36 – Duck hash with confit duck leg, pink grapefruit Hollandaise, crispy shallot & brioche

Barbary, one of the best sellers, signature dish in Wild Honey. Duck hash – a mix of shredded duck confit with potato hash, paired with confit duck leg, crispy shallot on brioche. Dressed in pink grapefruit Hollandaise – our favourite sauce! Enjoy how this rich sauce is balanced up with refreshing touch from natural sourness, bitterness and citrusy aroma of this vitamins rich fruit. Portion looks small but trust us, you will be full by the time you wipe the clean plate.

Brittany RM30 – French toast, baby bananas, salted caramel mascarpone, toffee’d hazelnuts, salted caramel sauce

French Toast, like breakfast like dessert. Something that Summergirl never fails to love. Wild Honey version has thick, fluffy brioche toast with eggy coating, slightly crispy edges. Further decked with baby bananas, salted caramel mascarpone cream for soft munch, contrasting by toffee’d hazelnut for crunchy bites. Finished with salted caramel drizzles. Perfect sweetness with a touch of saltiness on top of this wonderful concoction.

Norwegian RM54 – Avocado, grilled asparagus, poached eggs wrapped with Norwegian smoked salmon, Hollandaise sauce, salmon pearls, whole wheat brioche

Norwegian salmon egg benedict is a little high in price for normal brunch but it is satisfying to tuck into this luscious, nutrient-packed dish once in a while. Soft egg white holding beautiful yellowish, runny egg yolks, wrapped with smoked salmon – placed on top of wholewheat brioche bread, topped off with asparagus, creamy Hollandaise sauce, and glossy orange-colour salmon pearls that burst in mouth once biting through.

Chicken Chop Chop RM28 – Grilled hicken breast, Napa cabbage, Asian pear, pineapple, spicy cashews, crispy wanton strips, curry vinaigrette

Myriad of colours and textures, all layered high in this Chicken Chop Chop. Juicy grilled chicken breast, refreshing Napa cabbage, sweet Asian pear, pineapple, crunchy spicy cashews, crispy wanton strips and drizzles of curry vinaigrette that magically flavor up the entire salad! A cross of Asian and Western flavours, recommended!

Grilled Reuben Sandwich RM46 – Hand sliced pastrami, swiss cheese, RUssian dressing on grilled rye with pickles

Grilled Reuben Sandwich – perfect for sandwich lovers who like meat-loaded filling between their toasts. Look at the hand sliced pastrami stuffed within, beefy, generous amount. Complete with Swiss cheese and Russian dressing within two grilled rye that scores on chewy centre, crispy sides.  Comes with pickled cucumbers.

Cappuccino RM12

For drinks, diners can opt for coffee, tea, milkshakes, mocktails, juices. Coffee undoubtedly will be our first choice. LOL. Wild Honey uses beans from Common Man Roasters. Pick from usual cappuccino, latte, flat white, long black, macchiatto, piccolo latte to cold brew and flavoured latte.

Paris Hot Chocolate RM16

Non-coffee drinkers can check out their Paris Hot Chocolate – a cup of thick, extra chocolaty drink prepared from Valrhona chocolate, whole milk and homemade marshmallow cube.

Mandarin Wilderness RM20

Queen Bee RM14

Milkshakes and Mocktails are recommended too. We sampled Mandarin Wilderness – ice blended raspberry, banana, mandarin orange with Royal honey and Queen Bee – Ruby red grapefruit, elder flower, Royal Honey.
