With over 50 food items to choose from, diners will definitely be spoilt with delicious choices from local to Asian, Western and fusion delights which are proud creation by talented chefs in Renaissance KL.

Led by WACS Global Chef Helmut Lamberger, TEMPTationS newly revamped menu will focus on indigenous cuisine prepared using sustainable and locally sourced fresh produce. Get ready to indulge into starters, salad, sandwich, burgers, soup, pizza, pastas, steak, poultry, seafood dishes and dessert – for lunch, teatime or dinner.

Nicoise Salad RM39

The food list manages to grab our attention right from the Starters and Salad. Apart from the classic Romaine Salad, Buffalo Wings and Nicoise Salad, international diners get a chance to savour some of our Malaysian flavours, including Popiah Goreng, Chicken Satay, Beef Satay, Rojak and Kerabu Mangga.

For burger and sandwich section, Roti John might secure some loyal customers, seeing that this local favourite that has minced chicken, tomato chilli sauce and mango salad brimming within local sweet bun coated with pan-fried egg. But of course, the huge Renaissance Burger is not shadowed too. 200grams of Angus beef patty, sandwiched within two fresh bun together with aged cheddar cheese, tomato dill pickles, beef strips, lettuce and a side of fries. Give it a try, you’ll like.

In case you are in the mood for Asian meal, the menu has put together North Malaysian Oxtail Soup, Briyani,  Wanton Noodle, Nasi Goreng Kampung, Hainan Chicken Rice, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Dal makhani with Jeera Pulao, Murgh Makhanwala (Punjab butter chicken, jeera pulao, pappadom) which may fit your appetite.

American Style 10″ Rendang Pizza RM44

One of the recommended pizzas in TEMPTationS, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel. The base may not be similar to thick crust pizza or Italian style rustic thin base. It is more like a flat bread texture but what makes it noteworthy is the toppings – Malaysian Chicken Stew, pepper, Pineapple, Bean Curd and Bird’s Eye Chilli (cili padi). Spicy but manageable, flavourful in its own unique way.

We have been to Renaissance Hotel Kuala Lumpur for numerous times and have to say that their desserts seldom disappoint. Check out their Fruit Harvest with tropical fruits and calamansi lime sherbet; Banana Cream Caramel with caramelized banana, syrup, tropical fruits; Vanilla Bean Mango Pudding with chilled longan, lychee, sea coconut, palm sugar syrup; Rich Chocolate Mud Cake with salted caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream, apricot chutney; R Cheesecake with coconut tuile, vanilla chantily, mango salsa.
