NOMO Restaurant, Menara KH KL: Dinner Date with KL City View

Heli Lounge Bar KL (Helipad Bar KL) at Menara KH – the famous rooftop bar located on a helipad, offering 360-degree views of Kuala Lumpur city skyline. It is said to be one of the “best kept secrets” in KL city but other than this, there is also another hidden gem here, named NOMO Restaurant.

NOMO Restaurant is located at the same floor next to Heli Lounge Bar KL, also accompanied by great view overlooking this bustle city. The difference, Heli is more of a bar for you to chill & relax, sipping on cocktail while enjoying amazing sunset view. While for NOMO Restaurant, it has a full-fledge menu for proper dinner. More exquisite and romantic. Suitable for casual date, birthday dinner or anniversary celebration.

In case you are here, it is highly recommended to put them together into your list – experience the breathtaking view at Helipad Rooftop Bar KL, then continued with lovely dinner NOMO Restaurant, or vice versa.

Sampled few dishes from NOMO menu during our last visit to Heli Lounge Bar. Began with Porcini Mushroom Soup RM30, a thick and rich soup creatively added with dried porcini flakes to give more bites, finished with a dash of black truffle extra virgin olive oil. Hidden signature that you should give a try.

NOMO Signature Melon Feta Salad RM30, a refreshing salad loaded with colours and textures, putting together watermelon, pickled onion, baby spinach, mint leaves, feta cheese, walnut praline, drizzled with honey mustard lime dressing. Love the creaminess of feta cheese that comes through in between.

NOMO Hot & Spicy Flame Grill Chicken RM46 – tender, juicy meat, dressed in housemade tangy, spicy Portuguese sauce that pleasantly lifts up the flavours of the entire dish. Served with glazed carrot, sautee French bean, soft polenta.

French Trimmed Rack of Lamb RM85, generous portion of beautifully grilled lamb rack, served over creamy soft mashed potato. Sided with asparagus, cherry tomatoes, cauliflower puree, rosemary and cinnamon jus.

End the meal sweet with Berries Mille Fuelle RM35, one of the best-seller desserts in NOMO Restaurants. Crisp, flaky pastry, layering with custard cream, apricot sauce and dried pineapple, finally topped with vanilla ice cream. Not too sweet nor cloying, just nice to be shared between 2 pax to round up the dinner.

NOMO Restaurant also has a long list of cocktails, wines, whisky, beers and juices to choose from. Order a glass or two and spend a nice evening with wonderful KL view.
