In recent years, associated with the pop-up restaurant phenomenon, food trucks offering gourmet cuisine and a variety of specialties and ethnic menus, have become particularly popular. Food trucks, along with portable food booths and food carts, are on the front line of the street food industry that serves an estimated 2.5 billion people every day. These gourmet trucks’ menus run the gamut of ethnic and fusion cuisine. Often focusing on limited but creative dishes at reasonable prices, they offer customers a chance to experience food that is unique and different from the stand alone restaurants.

This holy month of Ramadhan starting from 19 May to 13 June 2018, Putrajaya Marriott Hotel is excited to provide and create a truly ‘chillax’ and urban environment for Buka Puasa and thrilled to introduce the Jom Food Truck Ramadhan 2018!

This Ramadhan, apart from the usual popular local & traditional dishes, their Food Trucks offer innovative food that serves Japanese, Arab, Mexican to Western cuisines. 16 units of ‘Food Trucks’ of various sizes from 8’x 8’’ to 10’ x 25’ will be lined-up and displayed at Zest Lifestyle Restaurant that spreads through the Lobby Lounge’s indoor and outdoor of Level 1.

Ramadhan buffet is priced at RM 145 nett per adult and RM 100 nett per child and at discounted prices for Early Birds ; RM 118 nett per adult and RM 70 nett for child when one books from 5th April to 5th May 2018.

Award winning culinary team led by Chef Tengku Abdul Hakim Bin Tengku Yahya Shah and the Food & Beverage team work hard to prepare a lavish spread of dishes with the new Food Truck concept as well as interactive live cooking stations. Among the Food Truck specialties to look out for are Seafood Kaava, Chicken Fajitas, Ayam Golek Bumbu Cabai, Kofta Burger and Durian Cendol. On top of the huge spread, our ‘traditional’ ‘Dusun Buah”’ or Orchard offering Durian, Rambutan and other local fruits is one of the main attractions.

While guests savouring the scrumptious array of food, they will be entertained with Ghazal-Buskers modern and traditional music and songs by the young and talented group called Cili Padi. Guests can look forward to our instagrammable “Food Truck” themed venue by capturing the moments with friends and families during the season.
