Ruyi & Lyn Bangsar Chinese New Year Menu – probably the menu that we look forward to the most every year during this festive celebration, thanks to the ever-talented Chef James who never fail to impress us with his special crafted CNY dishes that worth a loud applause in creativity, taste, and presentation.

For CNY 2019 menu, Ruyi & Lyn earns the attention of many right from the Chinese New Year “Lou Hei” – limited-edition 28K Golden Koi “YU” Sang RM168 with exclusively designed Koi fish surrounded by colourful fresh ingredients, edible gold Yuan Bao, Atlantic Salman sashimi, ebiko and the ever-green addictive salted egg yolk crispy fish skin toppings.

Other worthwhile Yee Sang options include Forver Youthful Vegetarian “YU” Sang with crispy mushroom, Moat & Chandon Champagne “Lou Hei”, Wealthy Boston Loster “YU Sang” with lobster sashimi & Ebiko, Golden Prosperity “YU”Sang with crispy silver bait & Atlantic Salmon sashimi, etc..

Beauty Fish Maw Broth 黄焖蟹肉鱼鳔羹

For CNY set menu, other than ala-carte chef recommendations, diners can opt for individual set menu that highlight delicacies such as Fish Maw roth with Cra Meat in Chicken Carrot Reductions, Peanut Butter Crispy Popcorn Chicken, Treasure Bowl Abalone Fried Rice with Vegetables, Ming Prawn with Homemade Salted Egg Yolk Curry, Lamb Schnitzel with Foie Gras and Truffle Sauce, Hainanese Style Chicken with Mushroom Rice, price starts from RM138/pax; or Gourmet Celebration Menu ideal for group dining, from RM1288 onwards.

Next, painstakingly prepared 8 Treasure Duck with abalone, dried oyster, chesnut, salted egg yolk and lack moss. A collection of auspicious stuffing, moist, fall of the bone meat, flavourful glossy finishing sauce – it is a bless to be able to enjoy this traditional Chinese New Year treat at Ruyi & Lyn. Fortune Duck Glutinous Rice 熏鸭腊味炒芋头糯米饭 RM48/ portion

Fortune Duck Glutinous Rice, bursting with flavours of smoked duck, waxed meat, mushroom, dried shrimp and taro. Not cloying even after finishing a bowlful of it. Another favourite of ours from Ruyi & Lyn CNY menu this year.

Deep Fried Garlic Boston Lobster 蒜香波士顿龙虾伴干烧鲍鱼 RM428/portion

Finally, Deep Fried Garlic Boston Lobster, the “star dish” we have been long waiting for. Boston Lobster with finger-licking good garlic coating, top with luscious side – braised abalone in sweet chilli sauce and everybody-loves-prawn-cracker.

Even the dessert is Instagram-worthy! LOL. Homemade sticky glutinous rice cake in the shape of KOI fish, filled with sweet concoction from red bean filling.
