Wizards at Tribeca KL, New Menu 2019: Get That MATCHA Dessert Too!

Wizards At Tribeca Imbi, still one of our favourite coffee places in Kuala Lumpur despite the many new cafes blooming across the city. Vibrant, welcoming space filled with good vibes, offering amazing food and quality coffee that always keep our dining experience here satisfying.

Located just 5 minutes walk from MRT Bukit Bintang, Wizards At Tribeca is a restaurant ideal not just for locals, but also perfect for travelers looking for nice cafe that can be easily reached by KL public transportation. Brunch time is their most popular hours, but late lunch and dinner are worth a visit too, as the ambiance changes to more romantic, laid-back when the sun goes down.

Wizards At Tribeca has recently revamped their menu, added in more comfort food and brunch selections with chef’s very own creative twist. For example we really like this Unagi Bao RM28. Small in size, big in flavours.

Spicy, succulent unagi contrasted by crunchiness of deep fried nori, flavours lifted up with salted egg crumble and julienne cucumber for a refreshing crisp that comes in just right. Served over a basket of sweet potato chips.

Golden French Toast RM24 – an artistically plated French Toast coated with Nestum grain for that fluffy soft inside, crispy outside goodness. Topped with Mascarpone cheese, chocolate crumble, fresh fruits, raspberry coulis and pandan-infused gula melaka. Like dessert like breakfast, we don’t mind having this every week.

 Smoked Duck Porridge RM27, comfort food that you can hardly go wrong with. Homemade porridge, topped with smoked duck, sauteed clams and seaweed.

Clam & Mussel Pot RM26, highly recommended by Summerkid. While the mussel pot we usually have is cooked with garlic-butter & wine, Wizards at Tribeca’s version highlights on Asian touch, blending in rich, flavourful concoction of tamarind and coconut milk into the gravy base.

Can’t get over dessert at Wizards At Tribeca, especially this MATCHA RM24. Aromatic, mildly bitter matcha mousse, pairs greatly with strawberry salsa that cuts through the overall flavours with its refreshing, pleasing sweet and sourness. Layered with sable biscuit in between for more bites.

Oh-so-good. We can get used to this.

Other sweet treat options on Wizards At Tribeca menu includes Hazelnut Praline RM26 – Praline mousse with white chocolate and soft raspberry centre; Tiramisu Bomb RM26– tiramisu served with warm mocha sauce/mascarpone cream sauce and coffee jelly;

Golden Molten Lave RM28 – Salted egg yolk chocolate molten lava cake served with vanilla ice cream and salted egg yolk crumble.

Coffee, must have when in Wizards At Tribeca. In white, black, filter, cold brew or go Signature, such as Orange Honey Latte. Matcha Latte, Hojicha Latte, Genmaicha Latte, Iced Coconut Matcha using Matcha series by Niko Neko are worthwhile too.

Time to plan your next brunch and coffee session at Wizards At Tribeca Kuala Lumpur to discover their new menu!
