Jibby by The Park, Waterfront Desa Park City

Jibby by The Park at WaterFront, Desa Park City, your next Insta-worthy cafe to visit. 

Time flies. Couldn’t believe that we have actually stayed at home for nearly three months without any cafe hopping session due to MCO. Finally going out last week for leisure brunch in a cafe, and yet feeling awkward even though it is something we are so use to before this.

Yeap! Picked Jibby by the Park at Desa Park City. You have probably heard about this place too – one of the latest, most-talked about Instagram-worthy cafes in Kepong area. Wanted to visit this cafe since February but managed to dine here only in June. But glad that at least things are going better.

Established by the team behind Serai Group, who also owns Jibby & Co., Jibby East, Jibby Chow and Blonde, their latest venture certainly doesn’t disappoint, be it interior or food.

High ceiling two-floor space with a blend of stylish and vintage design, thoughtfully decorated with a line up of lush green plants . Welcoming ambiance, great #OOTD spot at almost every corner. Love the al-fresco outdoor seating that makes Jibby by the Park lives up to its name more, but sadly it was already fully occupied when we arrived.

For menu, Jibby By the Park offers culinary indulgence that put together Asia and the Antipodes – inspired dishes. Since it was still early and order limited to only BREAKFAST section such as Jibby Big Breakfast, Brekkie in A Bun, Champion Brekkie, Avocado It, Fluffy Bobsy pancake, etc., we went for the popular Jibby Big Breakfast RM35.

Portion is huge, a platter of artisan chicken sausage, beef bacon, mushroom, sauteed kale & onion, falafel hashbrown, rosated tomato and sour dough. Enough to fit two if you are small eater.

After 11AM, choices open up to main courses like Burnt Cauliflower & Roasted Pumpkin Salad, Crsipy Shredded Duck & Watermelon Salad, The Colonel Crispy Chicken Burger on Pretzel Brioche, Fun Boy Kentucky Fried Oysters, 300g Murray Pure Rib Eye, Spring Chicken Glazed with Jibby’s Peri Peri Sauce, Fish and Chips, Australian beef sticky short ribs glazed with Barbeque jam, Spaghetti Seafood Marinara, Thai Style BBQ Beef Ribs Bowl, Tiger Prawn Wok Fried Spaghetti, Biggie Beef Pepperoni Pizza, and more.

Coffee in a must here. Latte RM12 and cappuccino RM12 for us. Other than coffee, mocktails menu get the highlights too,  with Shaken Earl Grey Tea, Strawberry Basil, Lychee Mint, Ice Crushed Lemonade, Boo Boo’s Sepcial in the list. And sweettooth, do not forget to order group’s all-time-favorite Berry Pavlova Ice Cream as dessert.

Nice experience at Jibby by the Park. Do come early to avoid queue as the total customer allowed for dine-in is limited due to social distancing. Still trying our best to adjust ourselves to new normal with QRcode scanning, writing down our names and temperature recording at almost every shop but ya, we can go through this. Let’s keep our finger cross that everything will be fine, very soon.
