This mid-autumn festival, celebrate with EQ Kuala Lumpur as the hotel presents their Celestial Treasures, a selection of traditional mooncakes and snow skin mooncakes in creative flavours.
Specially handcrafted by Chef Tan Tzaan Ling, the Executive Sous Chef of EQ, these mooncakes are perfect for heartfelt reunions, gift giving occasions or personal indulgence. Bring home a set at Nipah from now until 1 October 2020.
Two types of limited edition box are available, in a set of either 4 or 6 pieces of mooncakes. For traditional baked mooncakes, choose between mini or normal size – Low Sugar White Lotus Single Yolk, Traditional Red Bean, EQ Signature Black Sesame Single Yolk and Pure Lotus Double Yolk (*only available in normal size).
Specialty mini snow skin mooncakes include White Lotus with Dried Fruit, Yuzu Pandan with Pumpkin Seeds, Taro with Red and Black Goji, Snow Skin Green Tea Red Bean with Mixed Nuts, Rose Lychee and the crowd favourite, Musang King Durian.

“I wanted to create flavours that are inviting, delicious and healthy that can cater to both the younger and older generation,” said Chef Tan. “We’ve experimented with textures and tastes of individual ingredients, combining the best of sweet and savoury as well as soft and chewy. The Musang King Durian flavour will definitely be a big hit as we only use the freshest ingredients and guests have been enquiring about these since last year.” He added.
Orders made from now until 31 August 2020 will receive an early bird discount of up to 15%, and bulk orders of 50 boxes or more will receive up to 20% discount. Customisation of corporate gifts is also available with six working days notice.
