Staycation at Pullman KLCC Hotel and Residences

October 31, 2020 by summerkid_summergirl

We used to travel overseas 2 or 3 times a year for vacations, to be away from the hustle and bustle of city. However, the global pandemic brought new changes into everyone’s life. Our flights were cancelled, travel plans are put on hold. But on the bright side, it actually gives us more chance to explore beautiful places in Malaysia that we have not thought of going before. #CutiCutiMalaysia is fun too! Not to forget, staycation with safety measurements taken into account.

Glad to find that many hotels are having special rates for their rooms, which make staycation more affordable than before. Pampered ourselves with a short getaway few weeks back by checking-in to Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences for 2D1N staycation, along with relaxing spa session at Vibes Spa, followed by delicious lunch and dinner at Red Chinese Restaurant.

This is actually our second time staying in Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences. As its name implies, Pullman KLCC combines both hotel and residential building. You can choose accordingly to suit your preference. Our previous stay was at the hotel side, so we picked residence this time!

-Safety Standards-

Strict SOP applied once we entered the hotel. We are required to give record on MySejahtera app, scan body temperature and sanitize our hands. On the thoughtful side, they have this UV sanitizers for your smartphone- you can request from the concierge to use this. Limited unit so it will be on first come first serves basis.

Apart from that, Pullman KLCC is now a Certified ALLSAFE Cleanliness & Sanitised Label Hotel, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to keep guests safe throughout the stay.

-2D1N Stay at 1-Bedroom Residence-

There are few types of residence units, namely 1-Bedroom Residence, 2-Bedroom Residence, 2-Bedroom Family Residence. While for hotel, there is an option of Deluxe Room, Grand Deluxe Room, Premium Deluxe Room , Premium Grand Deluxe Room, Executive Club Room, Executive Suite, Junior Suite and Presidential Suite.

Room for the night! So spacious. Since it is a residence unit, the layout is more like a home with living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom attached with bathroom.

Ours was 1-bedroom, just nice for couple stay. Very comfy king size bed for restful sleep. Yeehoo! If you are planning for family staycation, 2-Bedroom residence or 2-Bedroom Family Residence makes a better choice, at 97sqm and 107sqm respectively.

They even prepared this beautiful dessert set to welcome us back. Awww so sweet! Thank you!

32-inch LCD TV with a wide variety of channels, safe deposit box, free WiFi, in-room mineral water, Pullman bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer , iron, ironing boards, work desk, daily housekeeping are all made available.

-Wellness Therapies at Vibes Spa-

Didn’t manage to have therapeutic remedies at Vibes Spa during our first staycation in Pullman KLCC , so we made time for it this time. Vibe Spas takes pride for  in offering an array of holistic healing treatments to soothe mind, body and spirit.

The spa menu is carefully curated to add benefits to overall well-being, suitable for high -paced lifestyle of city people nowadays. We had their Detox & De-Stress Massage (RM196 for 60minutes, RM266 for 90minutes), and Maskne-Fix Facial (RM228 for 60 minutes).

More hotel facilities – Have a dip at the outdoor swimming pool, head down to the gym to burn some calories, or have a walk at their tropical spice garden.

-Dinner at Sedap All-Day-Dining Restaurant-

Dinner was at Sedap, the hotel’s all-day-dining restaurant. While their Eat-all-you-can Seafood Buffet is currently put on hold, the restaurant remained opened. Come by for 3-course set lunch, or all day a la carte menu. We always love their satay so please order a portion too when you are here.

-Breakfast in Bed-

Good morning! Rise & shine to our breakfast in bed – the best part of our stay in Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences this time!

You can have an option of either Asian or Western breakfast. To order, just call for operator service, mention your preferred set and food will deliver right to your room. Look at the spread! Soo generous! From pao to dim sum, nasi lemak, porridge, Nyonya kuih-muih for the Asian set; and Big Breakfast with omelette, coffee, bread & pastries, yogurt, etc. for the Western set. Note: additional charges will be applied for in-room dining request.

-Lunch at Red Chinese Cuisine-

Lunch at RED Chinese Restaurant before check out. Been here few times and still can’t get over with the restaurant’s design. Bold colour matching with Instagram-able, huge wall murals that fits right to the oriental theme. Make sure to get your #OOTD shot here if happen to dine in RED.

Nice, thoughtfully-designed dining space aside, Red Restaurant also churns out wonderful Chinese dishes to please your discerning tastebuds. Other than ala-carte menu, they are currently having few promotions that are worth trying out, such as Live Crab feast and Weekend Dim Sum Buffet Brunch.
