Yew Yew KL, new cafe in Petaling Street area. A small, cozy coffee place, located just few minutes walk from Lai Foong Lala Noodles and The Back Ground (aka REX KL).
This adorable, Insta-worthy shop front that becomes a hit in the social media recently is one of the reasons that brought us over, and not to forget, their freshly brewed specialty coffee. A nice coffee shop to stop by for a cup of hot latte after a tummy-warming bowl of lala soup noodles at Lai Foong, or comforting Siew Yuk Rice at Fake Bro Real Pork, Bakar-bakar delights at Lauk Pauk.
Yew Yew KL menu is straightforward- coffee and juices for beverage, pastries and cakes for food. No main courses like big breakfast, egg benedict, French toast, etc.. so it is more of a place to chill & relax over a simple cuppa. Pick from croissant to seasalt chocolate chips cookies, chocolate brownies, red velvet cake, and adorably decorated Rose Lychee Chiffon and S.U.N.N.Y.M.I.S.U Tiramisu (*head over to their Facebook/ Instagram). Scone with butter & jam that we ordered paired well with our coffee but taste wise, still rooms for improvement.
Overall, we love the ambience for Yew Yew KL, with the condition that it is not full house. Lol. Service is friendly and staffs are really friendly & attentive, offering us water seeing that we stay at outdoor for quite long. Thoughtful gesture that made us felt warmth.
