Nobu Kuala Lumpur is now ready to welcome you at its new location – Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur!

After months of waiting, Nobu Kuala Lumpur has finally opened its swanky new restaurant at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. This comes six years after the brand launched Southeast Asia’s first Nobu at Menara 3 Petronas. The new restaurant has exciting features that will elevate the guest experience like never before with a more accessible location, private dining rooms, state-of-the-art kitchen and an all-new Sake Room.

On the opening of the new restaurant, co-founder of Nobu Restaurant Group, Nobu Matsuhisa, said, “Nobu Kuala Lumpur was our first location in Southeast Asia. We were very fortunate to have amazing local partners who were instrumental in successfully bringing the Nobu brand to Malaysia. With almost six wonderful years at Petronas Tower 3, the 56th floor will always be special to us, not just because of the spectacular views, but because of the spectacular team who helped to build Nobu KL. We look forward to continuing the same Nobu standards of high quality food and quality service in a beautiful setting at our new home at the Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur.”

General Manager of Nobu Kuala Lumpur, Gopi Kanala stated, “We’re elated to finally open our doors and welcome both new and loyal guests to our brand-new restaurant at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. Guests will find that we’ve placed a lot of emphasis on the experiential aspect of the restaurant. Special thanks to our owners for making our new restaurant a reality. Now being situated in a lifestyle hub it’s allowed us to introduce new conveniences while being fully children friendly”.

The Sake Room serves sake from a brewery in Hokusetsu, Japan that makes it exclusively for the Nobu Group. The new addition can host up to a dozen guests at a time and provides both an experiential and educational journey on the different kinds of sake available and which dishes they should be paired with. Regular guests will be eager to reunite with the Hokusetsu Nobu Daiginjo TK40 “The Premium Sake”, Nobu’s most popular sake.

Malibu Dreams “Äutumn”

Staying on the topic of drinks, the bar is now located closer to the entrance and is perfect for those looking to have casual drinks or meetups with friends and colleagues. It’s equipped with an extensive list of liquor and specially concocted cocktails perfect for every occasion. For those that struggle to decide on which elixir to indulge, the friendly resident Bar Captain will be sure to assist you in picking something that suits your taste buds.

Located at Level 4A, the new restaurant presents an easy and convenient journey from entering Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur to being seated at your table. Choose from either the valet service at the lobby or car parking followed by a short elevator ride to Level 4A that will bring you right outside the doors of the Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in under two minutes.

Upon arrival you’ll find a lovely view of the KLCC Park with the iconic water fountain that lights up at night to accompany you as you indulge in Nobu’s signature dishes. Muslim guests will be pleased to know that there are suraus conveniently located at both Level 2 and Level 4A. “We also now have three private dining rooms of different sizes with a total capacity of 60 persons that can hold both small and medium scale events suited to the requirements of our guests. We’ve received many requests over the years to expand our capacity for events because of our location in the city centre as well as the world-renowned cuisine that we serve. Now that we’re in a very accessible location with our new and improved features, we’re excited to be able to host both private and corporate events,” added Gopi.

One of the more noticeable changes will also be the island kitchen where guests are able to marvel at the craftsmanship and skill of Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s chefs as they prepare their array of delectable dishes. This is right alongside the Sushi Bar headed by Head Sushi Chef Chico who will be serving guests authentic sushi experiences from right over the counter. The kitchen is fitted out with state-of-the-art features and uses a specially designed advanced kitchen exhaust that is the first in Malaysia. Aside from the preparation of dishes, guests can look forward to interactive and inventive approaches that Nobu will be adopting to serve them food. Nobu will be reintroducing the tableside experience for special promotions where a certain dish is prepared in front of the guest by the chef himself. “All these new features that we’re introducing much like the tableside experience are sure to elevate the guest experience and supplement our world-renowned Japanese-Peruvian cuisine that our guests enjoy. After roughly three months of waiting, I’m so excited to finally welcome back all our guests and see both new and old faces,” said Executive Chef, Philip Leong.
