Miyabi, translate as “elegance”, is a highly rated Japanese restaurant located within Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel has just debuts its Omakase-style Yakiniku concept with four Yakiniku rooms. Conceptualised to bring guests an elevated Omakase experience to the ever-growing local Japanese food scene, Miyabi prides itself in serving this newly launch menu, spotlighting the premium Japanese A5 Wagyu beef.
Featuring a stylish decor in warm tones with wooden elements on their custom furnishing, flooring and wall decor, Miyabi Japanese restaurant exudes comfortable atmosphere, along with an aura of Zen that promises satisfying dining experience for Japanese food lovers.

This December, Miyabi invites food enthusiasts to try out its Omakase-style Yakiniku Wagyu beef and seafood menu promotion from RM438 per person. A seven-course tasting menu with exclusive beverage pairing is also available for private functions at RM488 per person (minimum 35 persons), offering a curated selected of dishes from the newly launched Grand Menu. The creation of the Omakase-style Yakiniku stems from its Japanese Cuisine Chef, Tetsuya Yanagida’s deep-rooted philosophy and passion in preserving the authentic ways of Japanese cooking. He has spent more than two decades honing his craft, starting from his home city of Tokyo, Japan, to the highly reputable restaurants in Kuala Lumpur.

With the Omakase menu, diners will entrust the dish selection wholeheartedly to the trained chefs. In addition, the menu include a mouth=watering Yakiniku course featuring different beef cuts and fresh seafood in Yakiniku private rooms, where diners get the chance to grill their own meats and seafood upon order. Each slice of beef is cut into bite-sized pieces beforehand and placed individually on hot plate. Highly recommend to accompany the meal with noteworthy, premium sake Japanese gin and wine selections.
Miyabi’s new menu incorporates halal-certified premium Japanese A5 wagyu beef and seafood directly from Japan, personally sourced by Chef Yanagida. Originating from the prefectures in Western Japan, the import process is closely monitored to ensure this beef delicacy is certified by JAKIM for everyone’s enjoyment.

We truly enjoy every course especially the Yakiniku Japanese Wagyu Beef A5 with Wasabi Soy Sauce and Leek and Teppanyaki cod fish and foie gras with teriyaki sauce. The wagyu beef is so juicy, tender with wonderful marbling, literally almost melt-in-mouth. Same goes to the later. Smooth, buttery cod fish, flavours enhanced by the salty-sweet flavours of teriyaki sauce. Lovely.
